The tens unit that I bought recently is great; however, the wires that came with it were not so great as they started shorting out. There were two sets of wires that came with my tens unit that have both gone bad. When I went looking for replacement leads, the main feature that I was looking to find is the connector that goes into the tens unit itself. Although I was a bit skeptical at first in ordering these because I did not know if it would fit my tens unit and I was not sure I would like having black and red wires instead of white wires. Now that I have them and have been wearing them, I now prefer the black and red wires to the white wires because they aren't visible like the white wires are. The connectors fit perfectly, in fact the connector fits the tens unit better than the original wires did. The same goes for the electrode ends which seemed to be slightly thicker than the original ones that came with the unit. The result is that the effect the electrodes more snugly and securely than the original. Because of how often I have seen the same product on Amazon being sold under different brand names with different prices, yet are either identical or virtually similar in performance, the first two things I look for are the specs and the price. I picked these because they looked like they would do the job for the least amount of money. I'm happy to say I was right on both counts. The problem with the original wires that came with my tens unit is that they became hard and brittle which is why they developed internal shorts. If you have a tens unit and you accidentally disconnected the wires from the unit and try to put it back into the tens unit while it is running, then you probably got a jolt of electricity that sent shock waves through your body. This is the same feeling you would get if one of the wires had a break inside the insulator and you unknowingly bent the wire. In conclusion, these wires are excellent and because the insulators are more like rubber than plastic, they will not be developing any breaks inside them. I highly recommend them.

Bought for a family member for a unit they had, worked well for what was needed. Not sure how long they lasted but I see them using it often.
