New OEM Battery for Apple Macbook Air 13-inch Mc503, Mc504, A1405 (2011 2012 Models) Laptop Notebook

Issue I have with this battery is it was made in 2012 but shipped "as new" since it hadn't been opened since then. So far holds about 93% of charge it should if it was brand new (I'm thinking just because of the age). Used coconut battery to assess life cycles and %.Three stars instead of five. One star off for not disclosing age of manufacturing date and one star off because it doesn't hold 100%.

UPDATE - July 4, 2015:So.... after only 8 cycles, this battery lost effectively about 50% of capacity. It's still reporting max capacity as 6613mAh, but... past about 3680mAh it just stops charging. SMC reset didn't help, so returning it for refund (hence downgrade only to "2" stars instead of complete "0") - YMMV (mine was a lot lower than expected :( )ORIGINAL - June 20, 2015:It's pretty much old original MBA battery, with "0" cycles. On my GFs laptop, it shows with her usage about 4.5-5hrs which is way better than what she had with the old battery.

The battery worked fine for about 8 weeks and suddenly our laptop died. When we connected it to the power adapter the battery icon had an "X". It never worked again, so I had to bring to the Apple Service store and replace the battery for a "real" original one, not this fake "OEM". Don't be fooled by words.

lasted 6 months, then stopped holding a charge. avoid this product. I would suggest going with Apple genuine, but their genuine products are no better.

Works great so far, easy to replace. Nice to be portable again! The old battery was so bad we were constantly plugged in.
