great socks except for the "Time May Tell" embedded words
I love these socks except for the large, weird writing that is part of the design, that says in inch high black letters, "Time May Tell." For otherwise warm, well made socks, this annoying writing makes them seem visually like some cheap knock off. Luckily while I have shoes on, the annoying writing is hidden. However, when I am putting the socks on or taking them off, I continue to experience annoyance that the manufacturers choose to cheapen these otherwise good socks in such a crass way.

Amazing inside and out
Hands down the most comfortable socks I've ever worn. The best part is the material on the inside that you can't see in the pictures. It's like putting your foot in the warm furry bosom of a soft cuddly forest creature. These keep my feet warm, but they also let them breathe so they don't feel suffocated or sweat. Highly recommended, buying another set!

Perfect Merino Socks!
Been wearing them for a month now with liners in Antarctica....they are always dry. You can wear them without line socksr to lounge around the house. Super comfy but don't make your feet sweat.

Good value, great socks
I bought this four pack of wool socks to keep my feet warm in dress shoes during winter weather. They work great by providing more insulation and wicking sweat away from feet. My thick cotton socks would get sweaty and then feel freezing soon after. I was surprised by the fit, I wear a size 13 but didn't have to stretch them out of shape to put on these socks. The pair at the bottom of the attached picture have been worn and washed compared to the brand new pair above. The price was pretty reasonable at about $5 a pair for Merino wool socks. The only drawback with wool socks is handwashing them to prevent shrinkage, but that was expected and worth it for warm winter toes!

So far, so good.
Been looking for walking/hiking mostly-wool socks without any crap heavy elastic wrapped around the instep and under the arch. Advertised as arch support. Anything but. Got the 4-pair pack of these to give them a try.Came this afternoon after most of my walks...took a quick 3/4 mile fast walk and they felt damned good. Rated 4 stars to start; but, if they feel this good after a full day of exercise walking, I'll bump 'em to 5 stars.Have been doing minimum 3 miles/day for a few years. Bumped that to 4 miles/day starting a month ago and doing just fine. Plenty of time [retired 17-18 years, now] and reasonably fit for my age = 82. Have a groove worn along our fence line. Great shoes = Merrell, mostly. But, the damned socks have been driving me nuts. Never used to have crap like the elastic "arch" all the years I backpacked and hiked.OK, First update/edit:Took the same pair I tried for a couple laps. yesterday afternoon. 4.1 miles on them, today wearing my oldest pair of Low Merrell Moabs...about 3.25 miles of that exercise walking. Not pressing for speed, just steady exercise. Worked out just fine. My feet feel on the good side of OK.Another short-term update in a week/10 days and that should do it unless there are failings over a season or two. Though, here in northern NM, I can get my exercise walks in all but a half-dozen days total of mud or snow out of the year. It's dry here, folks.Second update/edit...Ordered another 4-pack. Looks like these have become my standard for walking. Love the feel. I follow the suggested washing routine except I don't do the low heat tumble-dry. Drape a couple pair on a hanger and let them air dry inside-out.Slightly thicker would be even more comfy - and appreciated. I adjusted my foot-plant slightly to accommodate the very slight difference from previous faves and getting more comfortable all the time. Understand these feet are as old as the rest of me! 82 years worth of hiking, walking, on these dogs. Maybe slightly less. I have no idea how old I was when I started walking. :-]

They survived.
These socks survived a week at Scout camp. My son had no complaints...so they get 5 stars. He wears size 11.5 mens. He didn't care about the logo - helps me match his socks. They were very affordable - really...I think other brands which I love are knit with gold.
