KidCo K15 GateMate Floor Protector 2/Pkg - Baby Gate Floor Covers (Clear)

I got two sets of these for a pet's room divide barrier about eight feet long, with a gate in the middle. My issue was that the floor was not perfectly flat, while the bottom of the segmented room divider was quite rigid - thus, some parts, including the rail at the bottom of the gate section, did not touch the floor. This made the whole thing unsteady and it would move back and forth easily when bumped or a dog jumped up on it. It also kept the gate from lining up properly and latching dependably when closed.I slipped one of these over the bottom rail at the low spots, where the floor/bottom rail gaps existed, including two at the base of the gate. Like magic, it now stays put, feels more sturdy, and the issues with the gate closing properly, while not 100% fixed, are much improved. The clear protector (actually a milky white, translucent rubber) slipped easily over the bottom rail (had to take the barrier apart to do it, of course) and fit snugly enough that there is no danger of them sliding around and out of position.I'd been puzzling over a solution for awhile, and these solved the problem quickly and easily.

Loved the quality and functionality of this product. A great baby gate stopper/floor protector and can easily recommend this to any parent as this is well sized and well made with thoughtful design. We decided not to install as if now since as we are waiting for our baby to be home but we did open everything and checked the parts and can say it is well built.My 2 cents below:Pros :- Great build quality- Looks very good in a subtle tone. Goes well at home without being flashy- Comes as a pack of 2- Would protect the floor with great efficiency and also acts as a stopper too- Installation is super easy and won't take much time- Glows in the dark for better visibility at the nightCons:- None that I see for this price and the quality

This was an easy install and the design made it for the medium soft rubber protector to easily slide under the fence.The bottom of the protector has multiple little round bumps to offload it from the hardwood floors or whatever floor you have.Only downside is the glow in dark feature which for me didn’t seem to work. So just an FYI in case you’re expecting a very bright glow, didn’t get that. Otherwise, still a VERY USEFUL tool for the home!

This KidCo Floor Protector works great to prevent friction rub on my hardwood floor from the pet gate that for some reason keeps moving. The little round footies on the bottom also hold gate in place better too. Device is wide enough for most standard gates so had no problem fitting. Flexible and durable. My room doesn't get enough light so I did not see the glow effect. Recommend that you watch your pet around this in case they think it's a toy.

I used these on my Kidco baby gate and have been very pleased. They keep the gate from damaging my flooring. They also glow in the dark so you don’t forget there’s a gate there and stub your toe. Definitely get these for your gate!
