Great to help the kids learn basic davening prayers
This is a true quality product. All the buttons actually work and it does NOT take a battery you would have to buy at a drug store (those hearing aide-type batteries). The prayers are sung as songs and it can make davening engaging and fun.At 1st I thought the price was a bit high but then when we got it and I think of the tech that goes into making a book that has a dozen and a half songs at the push of a button, it actually feels like a fair price. This would make an excellent gift too!!

Great way to learn
This Siddur book is great for both adults and children. What a great way to learn & or re-learn the prayers & what they mean. It contains the actual Hebrew script, transliterated English translation of Hebrew and the English translation. Just super. Press a button and you can hear a recording of a child reading it in Hebrew. Great for learning the pronunciation; although the child's pronounciation is not the precise Hebrew accent they did a good job of trying to make it accurate. I have not had any problems with the volume like some of the other reviewers have stated. But if you do there is a way to increase the volume in the FAQ section and also another reviewer mentioned how to fix that.

Talking siddur
Good recordings for my child to learn the basics of the siddur, and nice photos. Big drawback for me was that it has a big picture of the Rebbe in the front.

Returned But super product for Kid
I beg the maker of this fantastic system to make with the same idea, something for adults, that want to learn shema, modeh ani, wine and lighting candle prayer, washing hands, prayer for trip and health. I had no Sunday school growing up. Attending classes is too late but if I had something like this kid book. I could auto taught myself and rehearse my basic prayer. Loved the idea of this book unfortunately not exactly what I wanted it for. May be my review will help the author to come up with something for adults beginner to reach their basic faith. Thanks

…and no, it wasn’t the battery. The whole thing just died.

I don't care what denomination made this: My Autistic Daughters LOVE it
I'm raising my daughters Reform, but also enjoy some more traditional Ashkenazi traditions (my family is of Ashkenazi heritage). I was worried that my daughters, who are both Autistic, would have issues learning the prayers. I found this Siddur around Chanukah last year, and it was an instant hit! My girls treat it with respect, but they are still incredibly curious, and spend hours every day reading it, listening to the songs and studying it. I actually walked into a room the other day and heard them both reciting the Modeh Ani- and I know for a fact the Siddur was on the other side of the house! And tonight, we recited the bedtime Shema, which I don't think the tune is in this Siddur, but my daughters loved it, and I even wrote the English and Hebrew on their chalkboard wall, and they were cheering! My daughters have always been interested and curious about our faith, but this took something that could have been very hard to learn, and allowed them to learn at their own pace and fall in love with the prayers and the tunes. Thank you for that!

Beautiful baby's first Siddur
Dedicated to the Lubavitcher Rebbe, this book is a true labour of love. I bought it for my granddaughter and she absolutely loves it already, at only 12 months old. The pages are sturdy and laminated, so with supervision and care, it will last as she grows. The songs are wonderful, and because they are mostly sung by children, it is very appealing to young children, much more so than the usual 'singing book' toys.I was thrilled with the Aleph Bet song at the beginning of the book, and the section with many more lyrics (in English) at the back. The Hebrew text with vowels, translations and transliteration is the perfect resource to practice learning to read for older kids.I highly recommend this book, right down to the thoughtful note to not use it on Shabbat or holy days. It is lovely and definitely a 'Children's first Siddur" not a toy.

Great Siddur
Quit costly as we don't have it in Australia, but worth it.
