Another excellent Mysterious Benedict Society book
The children of the Mysterious Benedict Society are back living at Mr. Benedict’s house, happily spending all their time with their best friends. Using the Whisperer for good, Mr. Benedict helps restore Constance’s very early memories about when and why she ran away which of course leads to her running away again. Mr. Curtain is still after the Whisperer, to use it for evil, and will stop at nothing, including kidnapping the children, to get it.The third and final installment of the main Mysterious Benedict Society series, The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Prisoner’s Dilemma, is just as fun and exciting with some brainteasers thrown in as the first two. My boys enjoyed every bit of it and were so excited that we didn’t have to leave Mr. Benedict quite yet (but could meet him as a boy in the prequel). I highly recommend this book to adults and children alike. The series makes an excellent read aloud.

Amazing. Fun and well told.
From my 11-year-old: (she loves the series) in this book, there is more of a focus on the threats and danger from the secondary characters called the Ten Men, which provided a whole new perspective. These men are evil (their sinister nature is implied, but not detailed in the story). So this made the action thrilling in a way the first 2 books didn't say. It was also great to learn more about the individual gifts each of the 4 main characters - the kids - possessed and how their gifts helped change and influence the events of this story.Highly recommended - and while you don't have to start with book #1, you should, because the series is a great ride. :)

Another winner by Trenton Lee Stewart!
Another amazing book about the Mysterious Benedict Society! We have them all! My daughter teaches 4th grade and keeps the full set on her shelf at school and another on her home bookshelf. She reads everything that she recommends, and although they are a little advanced at this point in her 4th graders' year, she keeps them available for her more advanced readers.

Lots of fun!!
What can I say? My 5th grade grandson is loving this series! My folks always told us kids READ! Read to learn...read to have FUN! Comprehend and retain. If you don't enjoy reading...you won't. If you don't read, you won't learn. Great books for young readers!!

My voice wears out before the kid's attention.
I wondered if the sequel could hold the kids attention as well as the first one. Answer: OH YES! Slow at the start, but once it gets going it has all the adventure and humor of the first book.

My kids LOVE the adventures upon which the kids in the book ...
I first heard about the Mysterious Benedict Society on Diane Rehm's Back Seat Book Club. The conversation that day was really interesting, so I picked up the book and read it. And then I passed it on to my kids. My kids LOVE the adventures upon which the kids in the book embark. They see some of themselves in many of the characters. This book was purchased for my son for his Easter Basket, to complete his series. He has plowed through it, and is on the second read. SO FUN!

Great adventures for healthy imaginations😀
I was looking for adventure series for our godson on his tenth birthday and I was very picky because I think books should inspire a vivid imagination. I was not disappointed. I read the four books in hours and must have been late to many appointments and neglected many tasks. It is refreshing to find books of such quality and creativity. Not only did the stories hold my attention I was particularly pleased and in admiration with the character development and the situations that challenged them to make hard choices. It brought the best out of them even when the choices made it harder on them. Great stuff but I've chosen to wait until our godson is twelve because some of these situations would be a bit complex for him at the moment. Can't wait for more adventures from Trenton Lee Stewart!

absolutly amazing but definitely for 9+
This book is very good but THERE ARE SOME VERY SCARY SCENES. If you have already read one of trenton lee stewards books then you should be fine unless you got scared of the Ten Men. TEN MEN ARE THESE MEAN MEN WHO ARE DRESSED IN SUITS AND CARRY A BREIFCASE THEY HAVE 10 WAYS OF HURTING YOU.This book is really good for 9+year olds But I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS BOOK FOR CHILDREN UNDER 9.FOR PARENTS:If your child gets scared by certain things like weapons or people who are very mean then they should not read this book or this series.By Evie age 9
