When I grab this roll I know each and every time it's going to tear when I want it to, it won't when I don't want it to. Sounds simple but it's essential. If you want clean lines, no residue, and a proper thickness - this is the one. It saves me time, effort, stress.Scotch General Purpose masking tape is perhaps the best selling tape of its kind. But here's the thing, the brand is good for some items like their blue masking tape, it's decent. But with their standard white general purpose tape, I immediately got it out of the package, and I couldn't get it to start and every little piece tore. It wasn't a fluke, it wasn't old tape. I got a refund and ordered another, same result. It was eternally tedious, I wish I'd thrown it out but I thought "this is just the way it is".Never again.I tried four other brands, they all disappointed me, not as much as the Scotch brand. Then I decided to give this Phyxology Supply masking tape a try. I should have done this a while ago. My new go-to! Five stars ⭐!

This is my favorite tape for painting--great price and works really well. I've used it for watercolor, acrylic, and gouache. The tape creates a clean border--no bleed through and doesn't rip my paper when I peel it off. Sometimes I'll stick it my clothing (1-3 times) first, other times I would forget and I still have no issues. No need to even press down on the edges to prevent bleed-through. I've purchased the 2-pack twice. Just keep it out of sunlight. Halfway through my 3rd roll--it started ripping my watercolor paper every time. I realized I kept that roll on my craft table near a large window where the sun would shine through in the afternoons. I started my 4th roll and it works perfectly. Now, I keep the tape in a drawer at all times.

I go through a lot of this stuff taping patterns to leather while cutting and punching. It works fantastic!Sticks well enough to hold as long as I need, but then peels off easily with no residue or damage. I've also found that if you forget to remove it right away, it doesn't get hard to peel off even weeks later.I'm working on my 3rd Six Roll pack and will definitely buy more.

I am a repeat customer for this tape, which I really like, even though I do not often readily use it for traditional masking purposes. As a Senior with arthritic fingers, I really appreciate the ease with which I can peel and then break this tape from the roll. It it very useful to write-on and label items for the freezer, too.

This tape works very well for masking off areas for resin-- I have use painters tape before, but it left areas of gluey mess. This tape leaves almost no residue, and what little it does is easily removed with alcohol ( I used 99% alcohol) Great tape!

I'm doing some leather crafting and sometimes I need to mount paper patterns to the leather. This No-Residue Masking Tape is a game-changer. It's easy to tear without any glue residue on the leather surface. But the leather quality matters too.

I use this to label containers of food for the freezer. It sticks fine, but sometimes shreds when I try to take it off. It is also thin, and you can see anything that was written on the container right through it.
