el, they have large, ½ inch diameter threads and are silver zinc coated for strength and corrosion resistance. We do not use aluminum threads.

To install: Remove weight from rear of motorcycle, remove factory link mounting bolts, remove stock links and replace with Soupy’s Lowering Links, reinstall bolts, adjust to desired ride height, ride!

36:T4ce,I am very satisfied with the end results.. however I was not happy with their instruction, the written instructions were vague so I watched the video and it did not show how to put these on my kawasaki concours. They used a small bike and that's when the fun began. First off they should have stated to take Venter stand off first. I did not so I had to remove my muffler to get one of the bolts out. Second was that they tell you not to adjust the links prior to installation because they are set at the same length. I recommend you put a Jack or lift under the bike to keep it at the current height before taking the old links off. I took the old links off and the bike dropped. I had to adjust soupys links all the way out to put them on. Then I worried that they were not the same length. I contacted soupy and they were prompt with there response saying to use a caliper to be sure each link was the same length. My links ended up a tad over seven inches. Ever price calipers that measure that long? Forget about it. I used a tape measure. Just got back on a 1003 mile ride and they are great. My feet reach the ground just right. I recommend the product but think things through before you start taking things apart. Brian41:T15e4,
