Red LED Dim Night Light for Bedrooms & Bathrooms [2 Pack] - BioRhythm Safe - (Teddy Bear)

I am 66 years old, and don't have the greatest vision to begin with, but the claims of these 1 star reviews are rubbish.I searched high and low for a red night light that were really red. Most have a reddish filter over a white light, and they do spoil your night vision. Most of them do emit some of that white light.Sure, these aren't the brightest night lights, but they are - night lights! What do you expect?These are nice, nice lights, both me and my wife like them. They are a rare find.Sure if you come in from the sun and go into a pitch dark room with these on, you won't see anything, but even with my low vision, I can see everything in the pitch dark room with just night light on. No, I am not going to read in there, but I can see enough to conduct the business at hand, and then leave with my night vision unchanged in the least. The key is, let your eyes adjust to the night lights output, usually after bed. So, if you want a true night light that won't wreck you night vision, order these, and pay no attention to the one star reviews. And by the way, they are plastic, but do no feel that cheap either. Now when I bought these, I almost past them over because of the reviews. But they are fine.

This is a true red spectrum night light. Looks almost invisible during the day when not on--blends into the background very well. I gave one to my baby brother as a gift who is a special needs child. Switched his old bright white night light out for this red one and he has stated that he is sleeping better. Yes it is dimmer than most night lights, but that is what is needed to stay and fall back to sleep easily should you need to get up in the middle of the night. The light looks lovely when it is on.

This light is primarily a see-in-the-dark light rather than a don't-bump-into-things-in-a-dark-room light. I was really looking for the latter, living in a rural area where the dark is really, truly _dark_. I got tired of slamming my hip on the bathroom counter. This light provides enough illumination to see objects and define in the bathroom. For me, that was too bright, but I have solved the problem with black electrical tape on the edges and across the bottom, cutting the illumination about in half.The light itself appears well made, and the light sensor works fairly well. (It lights the lamp while the room is lit by ambient light from the window (which is in the shade), but it goes off when I turn on the bathroom light.)All told, it isn't exactly how I'd design it, but y'know, for ten bucks for a pair of them? It's fine.

I love thus nightlight and it’s super cute. I got it at first for me as a book light but found it helpful for cats when I was cat sitting (helped them be less anxious when I wasn’t around to put on the lights).This light is the only one I could find that emits only red light.The bear design I thought would be annoying but they had sold out of the other and I was eager to stop using my regular light st night. The light comes with a nice informative slip of paper that tells you to turn off harmful blue light etc. Good way to let people know who don’t otherwise like to be told what to do, hence I put it on the fridge so no one questions my use of red lights ;-)The bear design turned out to be pleasant and not too babyish, so I am going to get more of those instead of the plain ones. That was unexpected. I like the fact the lights can sense darkness.Helpful for plant lighting when you’re not around to put on plant lights.The only thing I dislike is the plastic. But overall the design is so minimal and thoughtful I can’t complain.

I'm a light sleeper, and even the smallest light wakes me up. I've dealt with white lights and blue lights and hated them. The red light is so great. I can see my way around the house easily in the middle of the night. I have one each in the bathroom, kitchen and utility room. The screen is clear until the light comes on, and then its a beautiful red. When I go back to bed, it is so much easier to get back to sleep.The bathroom is about 20 feet from my bedroom, but I can see the soft glow and get to the bathroom without bumping into things.

The light is good but only for about 2-3 feet. I have a small bathroom ( 7 ft x7ft) and it did not produce enough light to safely use it.

This is perfect for the bathrooms. It takes 20 minutes for your eyes to adjust to total darkness. So when you get up in the middle of the night, your eyes are super sensitive to light. This night light is just bright enough to see what your doing in the bathroom, yet you can look directly at it without squinting. It is not bright enough for using in a large room or to see anything immediately after you turn off regular lighting. I use the round Sleep Aid ones for the kitchen and living room because they are brighter.

If you just want a light that will help guide you down a dark hall or find a bathroom. This light is perfect. It's a deep pure red, good looking and works well.I bought this hoping it would be bright enough for me to do basic getting ready for bed activities, reading vitamin bottles, finding my toothbrush, etc... It's not bright enough for that.The producers of this product did NOT claim that it was bright enough, so I don't feel like they misrepresented their product. It just doesn't quite meet my expectations. I am still using them. They are a good safety and convenience product so long as you only expect enough light for finding your way around the house.Good price also.
