Knee Brace Vafee Knee Patellar Tendon Support Strap Band - Knee Support Brace Pads for Jumpers Fit Running, Jumping, Basketball Outdoor Sports, set of 2

I purchased the Vafee Knee Supports after using another brand for the past year. Those gave me problems due to how the velcro straps were attached to the under-knee pads. They had rectangular buckles on each side which extended out beyond the edges of the pads. That caused two problems: the buckles would often turn sideways, bunching up the material that held them on to the pads, and that let the buckles press into the sides of my knees, causing abrasion and irritation. I chose the Vafee bands after taking a close look at how they're constructed, which appeared to be an improvement over the 2-buckle types. And they are. The single buckle is sewn on further back onto the band so that the knee band acts as a pad under the buckle, shielding my knees from contact with it. And the snugger way it's sewn on pretty much prevents the rectangular buckle from turning sideways, although not completely. In addition, having only one buckle instead of a buckle on each side definitely improves the comfort and the ease of adjusting for tightness. I still do have to make sure I strap them on "just so" to keep the buckle from turning sideways. That's one issue that all the band makers could improve on - sewing down the buckle as tightly as possible to prevent bunching and turning. Otherwise it's difficult to pull the straps as tight as you may like. Anyway, so far these are working well and are more comfortable than the previous brand used, and I'm satisfied. The bands do the job intended of supporting the patella as well as simply keeping the entire joint stabilized and kept together the way it's supposed to be. I would buy these again. And the price is a bargain.

Loved that these came in a two pack and I was lucky enough to get them on a flash deal. I have Osteo arthritis in my knees and will use a knee brace when I plan to walk a lot. The strap on these goes around the knee and through a ring allowing you to get a snug fit before using Velcro to close. The brace did not slip down at all even after walking three miles with my very active dog along a walking trail that was not paved. I did however notice some pain and redness on my skin from where the Velcro attaches. This can be prevented by putting the brace over your pant leg. The only other negative I found was later that day that my knees were aching a bit more than usual. I think I'll stick to my more full coverage knee brace for the trails and use these for extended shopping trips or walking around on cement floors.

I use these on days or during activities where I need support, but I don't need as much support as my hinged braces. I also use them at work as they are easy to wear under my clothing. They work well and they are far more comfortable than many of the braces out there.

I have used the brace now for a week. my knee used to hurt a lot and once I got the brace it was comfortable, small and doesn't move. My knee pain would ease and then to a point where I felt like I didn't have to wear it all the time. I use it when I do activities, like dancing, exercise and such. it is great and I recommend this brace.

Stitching on one end leaves a sharp edge which after less than 5 min of wearing the brace left red and irritated skin (just only on one side of the brace). Can't imagine how the skin is gonna look like after exercise.

This one work better than my other one did. It rubbed blisters on my leg.

I had a slight knee injury and I use these to support under my knee when I am working out, and I can tell they are working, plus they look sporting over my gym tights.

Not very comfortable for use on rowing machine.
