Star Brite One-Step Heavy Duty Cleaner Wax
Love the results of this Star Brite One Step Heavy Duty Cleaner and Wax, my husband used this on his Meyers Manx dune buggy with a fiberglass body, some parts of the body were getting oxidized from the hot sun in summer and winter weather which consisted of very cold windy weather and some warm days and hardly any rain, so we thought we would spruce it up a little, the product is easy to use and goes on easily and as they suggest using a soft cloth or towel we used both types, immediately upon wiping a brilliant shine shone through, it even evened out the color and made it brighter and clearer than before, the buggy looks better than ever, it's like a diamond shine and some flat oxidized spots that did not completely disappear during application finally disappeared a few hours later and this is from the first application, manufacturer suggest applying a second coat ten days later which we will do.I absolutely recommend this cleaner and wax for fiberglass car bodies, and even worked on a an old steel bodied truck from what was left on the cloth they both look beautiful, we also suggest using a little extra muscle when cleaning off the cleaner/wax to thoroughly remove the haze and provide that deep dark shine I spoke about earlier in this review. I would give this product ten stars if I could but five stars will have to suffice.

BEWARE. NOT THE HEAVY DUTY. THIS IS LIGHT TO MEDIUM.
This worked fine on my boat in most places, but the labor is so intensive, I’d rather have used the HEAVY DUTY FORMULA that I’m used to using. Was it enough? On some parts of our newer boat that sets outside on a lift, I would say NO. But I would have had to stop in the middle of my project to drive to get the right product or wait for a new order. It says ONE STEP HEAVY DUTY CLEANER in the description, but the tag you don’t notice on the picture says for “LIGHT TO MEDIUM OXIDATION”. The description should say “for light to medium oxidation”. So I fault the listing, not really the product.

Brilliant Shine
I usually use the 3M Cleaner Wax but there were supply issues so I decided to give Star Brite a try. My boat is a 48’ ketch and waxing it takes me about 8 hours - I often spread the chore between two days. The first thing I noticed was that the Star Brite doesn’t clean as well as the 3M and has a thinner viscosity, however, it produced a deep shine that I thought was significantly better than the 3M. Also, it seems to last longer as water on the hull still beads up even though it’s been several months since my last application. I think it’s less expensive, too.

I love this wax!
I've been using this product for 3 years now. Every fall I would wax the boat and do a quick wipe the down after each use (while the wife cleans the inside of the boat). This product makes the boat feel clean and slick. Occasionally we would hit the rubber upright on the trailer while bringing the boat back in. The black mark from the rubber, dirt and muck clean off the boat with much less effort. They claim this product makes the boat faster and it I believe it.It is easy to apply and wipe off and the old boat looks great.

Simply NOT a cleaner.
I’m the outlier on this one... somewhat disappointing in that the seasonal accumulation of scuff marks, drips of various origins and normal usage are still there.... literally unfazed by to strenuous applications. This product was presented as a “cleaner” wax.... a misnomer..... it may well be a wax but it simply leaves untouched the majority of the intended marks.

Good product but did not work completely on my application
Product works ok on moderately fading Gelcoat finishes. I tried on my severely faded Gel coated fiberglass front and rear caps on a Cedar Creek 5th wheel. On areas that weren't too faded, it worked well but not on the bad areas. Product probably works great on white gel coats but mine are tan.

Did an excellent job. Cleaned old paint
Used on a rv that had not been waxed in several years. Did an excellent job. Cleaned old paint, restored finish. Great product. Would recommend to anyone.

Did the trick, even removed scuff marks.
Did a great job removing grime and light oxidation on a fibreglass boat hull. I even had some scuff marks from hitting the dock and rubbing up against the fenders that I thought were permanent clean up nicely!
