I bought these discs specifically to sharpen my lawn mower blades, and they do a great job and do it quickly. Having the blades sharpened at a shop is $25-$30, and replacing the blades are around $40, so a quick sharpening does the trick. I use them on my $50 Ridgid angle grinder from Home Depot, so in a couple of uses they pay for themselves and the grinder. I have a couple of blade sets and keep the spare sharp, smh change them out about every month. That way it's basically a touchup grinding without removing a lot of metal.

These wheels perform so well on both metal and wood. They are very durable and after sanding off paint, rust, and other junk off several pieces, the one I've used shows no signs of wear. Great value and they are thicker than most store bought variants. Super smooth surface once done!

I use these flap this primarily to make my wooden American flag look distress. I love that it is much safer than a wood carving disc so you don’t seriously injured or hurt yourself in the process if there is a kickback. So far I have had no kickback and have not even injured myself for the hours that I have used this to make my Flax. I have made over six flags using this flap and they look great as you can see in the picture.

When welding and brazing copper, I have to clean the joints repeatedly. It's art, so a complete and smooth finish is imperative. This is the disc to use. I use it on copper, but have also found it to be as great on all other metals.

These last just as long, work just as well and cost significantly less than most popular 'branded' products.
