If you're a boat owner who has shore power at your dock or slip, you need a good electric cord. This cord is a good one. It's the second one we've had (I screwed up the first one (my fault) and ordered this replacement.It's 10 gauge wire to carry the load. Don't settle for smaller gauge or you'll be sorry. Also use the locking ring on the female end if at all possible. That will keep the cord for jiggling around ad making a bad connection.I put a new end on the damaged cord, but it's not marine grade, so I'm reluctant to use it even for a backup. I've heard too many horror stories about damaged/burned boats from the use of improper cords.This is a solid cord. I recommend it highly.

Marinco is pretty much the standard for marine shore power cords. The cords are performing as expected. I purchased these to replace two Marinco cords that were 20+ years old. My cords are plugged into my Trawler twenty-four hours a day unless we are cruising. These cords take a beating in the harshest environment. So far the LED's are holding up well. Very satisfied with the purchase and a pretty good deal as well.

Cord was wired incorrectly, ground is wired to a hot prong and hot prong is wired to the ground prong… this will give you reverse polarity.UPDATE: Supplier stood by the product and sent me a new one free of charge. I guess sometimes there’s a dud lol. 4 stars

Purchased the 50 ft. Marinco 30 amp cord for my 3600 Generac generator to run 2 refrigerator/freezers, a separate 20 amp extension cord that I made ran the cable box, router, modem, flat screen tv and oscillating fan from a surge protector. Ran all for approx. 2 hours with no loss of power. Neither cord got hot, or even warm, by the way. A good heavy duty cord since it's 10 gauge, and it locks into the generators outlet so it doesn't shake loose from the vibrations...an important feature. It's worth the $85.78 that I paid. If you need a well-designed, heavy duty cord, I recommend this cord. Don't buy something cheap and risk the cord getting hot, and shorting out expensive equipment/appliances, or worse. Spend the money on quality items that will function properly and last.
