When it comes to scoliosis, most people including chiropractors and bone doctors will associates it with bracing, exercises and surgery. Few will think of nutrition as a part of the holistic approach to scoliosis treatment. Children suffering from scoliosis are generally thin and skinny. This is an indication of poor absorption of nutrients for growth and bone health.We are what we eat. The foods we put into our body have a direct connection to the health of our bones and body. To achieve the maximum benefit for our bone and health, we need to eat according to our metabolic type. Inaccurate, misleading
As a parent of a braced child with scoliosis who has researched and talked with numerous doctors and physical therapists about treatments, I find many of the claims in this book to be loose, and some actually untrue. I am all for a holistic approach to healing and realize nutrition is key to most health issues, but this ultimately is a very generalized, paleo cookbook.

Very happy, although I have a preference for the exercises
After purchasing the plan for the prevention and natural treatment for scoliosis, this author, and having a complete new approach on the subject, I decided to buy the exercise plan and recipe book recipes buy them kindle to be more economical format and I think that the plan went well, with minimal but with constancy (diet and exercise) cost me free of expenses in corsets and surgery (each case is a world) and I I corrected my curve. Very happy, although I have a preference for the exercises. It explains very well because you have to diet and exercise, is a new approach to this medical condition

Warning
I have not purchased this book yet however I am concerned about several posts that made it sound like changing diet is easier than bracing - that maybe true but depending on your age a degree of curve bracing is also a must. Having done extensive research in scoliosis I am a beleiver of a holistic approach which included looking into nutrition HOWEVER if the curve is 25 + degrees and/or the child is young and has a lot of growth left (as my six year old is) than bracing is a MUST to prevent curve progression. There was a major study (BRAIST) that found bracing DOES work. Bracing must be a rigid brace (not flexible) and well made for the person. Thanks . #scoliosiswarriors #curvygirlsrock
