I received the plaque without the 4 pins that secure the award certificate to the plaque.

This is NOT as stated by the seller, "Sturdy solid wood construction ...". It is compressed composite wood with a thin veneer as can be seen upon close inspection. It also arrived with a scratch across the front. Because I'm mounting a picture, the scratch will be hidden, but that does not change the fact that it came damaged in the original packaging. The weight is decent enough for my purposes so I'll keep it, but buyer beware if you really want solid wood for a nice display.

Cheaper quality than expected.
Looks nice at first glance. Thought this was real solid wood based on description but it is only wood underneath a paper thin fake walnut veneer which peels in the corners if you are not careful. I ordered 7 of them and 2 were damaged. The holes in the acrylic overlay do not line up with the holes in the wood base so you are better to create your own entry holes or the acrylic can crack.
