Trail Tech 5013-KTM Kickstand

Fits perfectly, Feels heavy duty. Worth the $150

OEM stand on KTM 450 EXC is a couple inches too short. Had been using a block of wood in the garage and finding rocks on the trail. This stand is the perfect length for 90% of the time. Well worth the investment.

Installed easily and works fine if not a bit too long for my particular application (2001 KTM 400 SX). Seems to be well built and engineered good enough to stay up without falling down on rough trails as I have had no issues after the last 4-5 rides since install. My bike did not come with a kickstand so this is a really nice upgrade and very convenient on the trails.The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the price.

Fit was good for 2003 KTM 250SX, but the stand was too long-- the bike stood almost perfectly upright with the kickstand down and a slight nudge would tip it over. I was able to cut the end of and shorten it up, but shouldn't have to do this with a product recommended for my model bike. Otherwise its good quality, stays up over rough ground and jumps, strong enough to support me on the bike while I kickstart it.

Although the manufacture states that the 5013-KTM fits like the factory stand I can assure you it didn't fit my bike. However the Fastway kickstand by Promoto Billet did fit just like it was made by the factory. When I called Trail Tech factory support they told me to "hit the bracket with a hammer" because my riding had bent the bracket. FALSE. The Fastway stand was a perfect fit despite my alleged "bent bracket". The Fastway also has an internal spring and works quite nicely. I'm out $140.00 on the Trail Tech 5013-KTM

The original side stand mount and brackets to my 525EXC are the weakest point of the bike. The original mount tore the tabs off the frame and it all had to be re-welded onto the frame. I suspect the fitment issues some people have is the original tabs were bent not allowing the stand to fit where it otherwise would have had they not waited so long to replace it. The new stand is so much stronger than the original and now the bike stands up straighter as well. Should have bought this stand years ago.

Well made product, works well. Wasn't a straight bolt on to my KTM. I had to elongate mounting holes a little as they didn't line up. Also stand needs to be about 25mm shorter as bike has virtually no lean to it when stand is used, infact you could easily knock bike over.

The stand was slightly to long but trail tech instructed me on how to shorten it . The bolt holes to bolt on bike are slightly misaligned had to file top hole slotted about 1/8 “
