The subject matter suprised me. I never thought there was so much possible. Maybe this book was intended for children's programs, but I think the projects would be fun for teens and adults, too.The book is well made and most of the illustrations are fantastic. Bravo.I highly recommend this book for personal use and as a great gift to others.

I cannot overstate how much I love this book. Everything about it is cool! It's divided into two sections, which are cleverly split out so that the book changes orientation in the middle so each section feels like it's at the "front" if that makes sense. The paper toys are especially magical - so imaginative. The projects are interesting and creative but not out of my reach in terms of technical difficulty, although you could attempt more complex versions of each once your imagination is going. I also really loved the examples presented in the book, they were really nicely photographed and diagramed, and I love that they each had more than one example so you could get an idea of different directions you could take for design. I absolutely love this book!

So fun and inspires creativity for us all. It is a great "how to" book for making creative and unique thank you notes and cards.

Though many projects could be found on the web, the size and feel of this book is just, dare I say it again, fun.

You can't go wrong with Esther Smith and Purgatory Pie Press. My kids and I have spent hours pouring over her projects, and then hours more creating our own.

This is a great book for anyone interested in learning to make pop-up books and toys. I would say it borders on beginner interests, but nevertheless, it's easy to understand and has lots of creative ideas for all different sorts of books and toys.

A WONDERFUL book. You won't be disappointed.
