These are superb kebab skewers - nice and wide and very, very sturdy. I'll only echo some other reviewers' wish that this company also sold a shorter version. I can attest to just how sturdy the skewers are because it took many minutes of effort CUTTING THROUGH THE DARN THINGS WITH A HACKSAW (my little Husky saw - I live in an apartment and don't have a workshop) so I could have a few that'll fit under the broiler of my stove. It worked in the end but I still need to file the raw edges. I only cut a few of them and left the rest long to use when I can set up a grill in a park.Despite the effort they're great skewers and I'm not sorry that I purchased them.

Sturdy, heavy stainless steel skewers. Great for grilling anything. 1 inch wide, perfect for chicken, steak and koobideh kebabs. Highly recommend. Arrived on time and in perfect condition in case which is great for storing. Best I have seen. You won't be disappointed.

These are high quality skewers and very useful for grilling.

These are one of those essential kitchen/grill items that you just need to buy. The metal is well formed and sturdy and they come in a PVC tube for easy storage. Plus can fit the entire PVC into into 1.5 or 2" PVC for an easy way to soak them to be cleaned. Just buy them.

Did some kabob a couple of times, they work great. Easy to clean, so to maintain too

Are you trying to find long skewers to do ground meat Persian style "Koobideh" skewers? Forget about those thin round skewers that all the stores sell, that won't hold your ground beef. For the price versus the Persian grocery stores that are around here, these feel very good because they're very simple.All you get is is two things:- 1 container made using PVC pipe. Very original to the designer, I like this! I can store it in storage under my oven- and the skewers, each of them being just stainless steel. No handles. I prefer not having handles because the handles all eventually fail and fall off.Two notes though:- They are HEAVY, so be careful when manipulating them- And some of you may not like that it doesn't have handles. Depending on the size of your grill is, in my case, I was able to manipulate the skewers with my bare hands because it's not possible for me to fill the skewer completely, these are very long versus the "standard size" skewers that I also have. If you want to fill the skewer completely, then you may need gloves or a tool to turn them.I still rate this as 5 stars because I wanted thick skewers allowing me to make koobidehs and the steel is quite thick, far from flimsy. You need the skewers to be flat/thick enough to hold the meat. It's otherwise very difficult with those thin round skewers.
