Love it!
Love it!!!! Made a big difference for me in the way I approached sleep. After going through stress keeping me awake then stressing about sleep, it was like I needed to relearn how to sleep. This book has given me the tools for that. Other books had the right idea but I needed something simple and straight forward. This is more of what I need it. I haven't even finished it yet my sleep has improved so much. I carry it with me for when I have a chance to read through it.

one suggestion ;keeping your eyes opened, instead of doing the obvious, closing eyes curling up and praying for sleep--- eyes opened REALLY worked, but it's so tiring--- hmmmm, maybe that;s the magic

Wish I had read this years ago !
I would guess each reader of this book might take a different length of time to benefit from it's ideas. The first chapter, or week, was enough to make a big difference for me. I am in my sixties and have had trouble sleeping my entire adult life. After reading this book I know what I have been doing wrong and how to change. I can't tell you how glad I am to have found this book and followed it's instructions.

Okay book
Some information was helpful, but didn't really help me on restless nights to sleep. Helped on nights that were not so restless.

Great book
I checked this book out at the library and instantly had to have a copy of my own. The author discusses in detail how you may be sabotaging your sleep, and then how to safeguard it. He has some wonderful meditations at the end of the book which are easy to use, especially if you are feeling tired! I keep it next to my bench, and use it as an encouraging reminder of what my intentions are. A sweet, helpful book worth owning.

Budda Sleep Book
Interesting book on sleep techniques. Have a problem sleeping so like to gather info about solutions and the Buddha was of life and meditation interests me.

Great book!
Highly recommended. I borrowed this book from the library to give it a test drive as I do before accumulating more books. This book is a keeper for sure. Mindful meditation is the way to go and Joseph Emet's approach is easy and lovely to relate to. It helped me break my 5 month stretch of insomnia and now my partner is finding it useful as well. No longer are we two chickens tossing on the rotisserie.

Total garbage
Total crap! It's printed is such light gray scale, I cannot even read it. Just imagine that late at night. Also, more like a reproduced pamphlet . This is not a book. Complete Garbage. Good Grief!

Excellent Tool for Natural Sleep
This great little volume shows easy tools especially mindfulness to help one get better rest. It is very practical and an easy read. The author studied with Thich Nhat Hanh so that alone says a lot. Super, helpful book.

Not a step by step manual of course
A simple book written in a simple manner for easy understanding ....well spaced out print and pages....more like a book to soothe than a book full of information and instruction loaded pages

Buddha's Book of Sleep: Sleep Better in Seven Weeks with Mindfulness
I slept very well the first night I bought this book, however that may have just been coincidence. I am acquainted with the work of Thich Nhat Hanh and this book skilfully employs his gatha's to enable you to calm your mind down. It also analyses various sleep patterns, those of us who wake up in the middle of the night for example are invited to settle down with meditation, I personally do this after I have read for a bit. I have not yet finished it and it is set out in weekly exercises so it will take some time to work through it properly. I understand it takes about 28 days to re-programme the mind to accept a new habit but I find this book is to my taste and although it is by a Buddhist writer it is generalised, so is useful in that way.

Best book to create self awareness 24/7
Among many books read on mindfulness ,I find this book as more practical. I really find huge difference in workplace and also at home.
