I wish I had read this book a year ago - very valueable info
This is a GREAT book! I ordered a stack of books about 1 ft high from amazon.com on Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, muscle weakness and joint stiffness. THIS BOOK had my answers! I read other very good books but this ONE book was the only one I needed to read. It EXPLAINS things! Step by step. I did the 5-day water fast as the book talked about and all my pains dissappeared!! Now I am food testing because I did not know about food allergies which had been causing me Flare-ups every now and then. The book had EXACT stories of muscle stiffness/weakness JUST LIKE ME! It described my exact symptom and had the correct cure. I'm only 41yrs old, too young to feel so old! I very very highly recommend this book!! I tell all my friends about it. I am now recovering from over a year of muscle stiffness and weakness. Everyone should read this book if not just for the value of learning WHY we should eat healthy and what foods ARE healthy and not and WHY so. It explains things, which is why I love this book! Easy to read and understand! If I had this book just a few weeks earilier, I could have saved myself from having a $2,200 MRI - which turned up just fine! It was my bad eating habits. Knowledge is key! This book gives knowledge. We go to school and College to learn a skill but no one teaches us the important of what foods to eat and why. America has the worst diet! I changed my diet and I got better, the book taught me knowledge of foods, food allergies, and understanding so much that I can't type it all. If you read the entire book, you'll be making recommendations here just like I am doing. I am just a regular person and no way related to the book or website here. I hope this helps someone who maybe reading it. READ THIS BOOK!!...4 Years later I am now writting this next paragraph. This book helped me to learn about foods! I later learned about the Hallelujah Diet & Lifestyle and changed my diet. I now look and feel 20years younger and my arthritis is gone! I used to weigh 215 lbs and now I weigh 167 lbs. I have been on the Hallelujah Diet for almost 4 yrs now and LOVE it. In fact as of this year (2009) I eat all RAW living foods and I can see even more difference. I highly recommend the HA diet and RE-learning about foods, what you eat may be causing your problems! It is not so important what you eat...AS COMPARED TO...What You DON'T EAT!!! After almost 4 years of changing my diet and lifestyle I have impacted my communtiy and several people now have learned about the HA diet and eating more raw living foods and understanding what food is and what food is NOT. The Standard American Diet (SAD) is killing us slowly in the wonderful country many have helped to build. The Love of money, greed and lack of understanding about what we put into our mouths everyday is the cause of up to 90% of all of phyical problems. I hope you will begin to learn and change, it worked for me and many others. Read as many books as you can and learn for yourself, and again I highly recommend the Hallelujah Diet & Lifestyle. It took years of learning and struggling to find this out, but it completely changed every area of my life in a very positive and healthy way!

What and how to eat foods/nutrients to fight different forms of arthritis
Wish I bought this book years ago. I've been suffering with severe arthritis for years.N.D. Nutritionist Lauri M Aseoph tells us what "Stressor" foods should never be eaten. Elimination of all processed foods,alcohol,soda and coffee and all junk foods. Also foods that help heal a "leaky gut" that allows toxins to leak into the bloodstream are shown. Also a 5 day "cleansing program is show that includes a 2 day pure water only fast that allows the body to eliminate much of its accumulated toxins and waste before healing. Then a program of natural non processed foods that helps reduce the body's antigens from attacking joint tissue and thus decreasing white bloods cells from attacking joint material.Then a system of testing different foods to see if you are allergic to it.Many different patients give their stories of eliminating gout, rheumatid arthrits and other forms of arthritis by using this diet. A few simple meal plans are given. Also the importance of finding the right doctor that will work with you using nutrition to eliminate arthritis pain is shown. Even more important is the 7 mini meals per day plan rather than 3 big meals. Less stress on the digestive system.Much importance is given to the different fruits and vegetables as well as Omega 3 fats via fatty fish like salmon and mackerel and Omega 6 via flax oil and the use of complex carbohydrate non processed food rather than sugars and processed starches like white rice, white bread,etc that have most of their nutrients eliminated. The need for fiber is stressed for speeding up the time stools can be eliminated from the body so less toxins are absorbed via the intestines.Also other conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes and other conditions may be helped with this diet.Its been a week since I stopped eating all processed foods. I have more energy but will need more time to relieve spine and hip pain. I changed doctors and found one who is interested in the right nutrition to eliminate arthritis pain. Next I'm doing the 5 day cleansing plan and starting the selective one type of food time to see if I'm allergic to it ( examples wheat,chicken,beef etc).I keep this book with me to fall back on for information as to what to buy at the supermarket or health store and meal planning. A great book. 5 stars I'm never going back to destructive mostly processed food eating.

How to Eat Away Arthritis
Pain from my neck to tips of my toes. On cane, crutches, and wheelchair. Surgeon says live with it and keep that desk job. Nothing to lose. By 5th day back spasms have relaxed noticeably. Nutrition therapy relieving back spasms?? No way!! Not being as strict going into second week and by 14th day back spasms are 90% reduced and knee is 20% improved. This alone is worth semi sticking with this. Shoulder pain is gone! If my injured (since Oct 2005) joint capsules in both feet can improve by just 50% I'll be back in the field selling! How exciting!!! Lots of pain left to conquer but I can function lots better now. Hobbling to my car on cane and one of my 75 coworkers shouts "Hey you're walking much better now. What happened?" Wow! Didn't think it showed on the outside too. From thoughts of suicide (only thoughts) to the excitement of a brighter future in only two weeks!! I have no doubt Dr. Aesoph has saved many lives with this book.

Good contents but not well laid out
The book has excellent information on how to eat, how to fast your way to health, etc.It's just a pity that the author didn't get assistance with the layout of the book. I really struggled my way through it and also struggle to find information that I want to refer back to. The layout needs to be a whole lot more systematic and logical.
