Great for 3M discs
Bought this to protect my stock pad and to allow me to use 3M Xtract discs with my sander, and they work as advertised. Hopefully they last a long time, and they were $16 but at least they give you 2 pads

Fits perfectly
I got this because I bought a new Festool sander but I had a bunch of Diablo sandnet sanding paper that I wanted to use and not have to just throw away. This worked like a charm.

Too expensive, but you already knew that...
It's literally just a thin piece of velcro and fabric, but it's got the right holes and is the right size for your expensive Festool RO sander. So, here we are.

Save your sander!
This works great to protect the main sanding disk. Not only is the vecro super sticky, when it wears out you can swap it vs a much more expensive part of the sander. I wore down the velcro just using it and made that mistake, then found these!

Markedly extends the length of the sanding pad
Not particularly cheap, but a whole lot less than replacing a worn-down sanding pad.
