Important to note - This is not the Tour DVD. This DVD shows Peter Kay preparing for his tour and films him behind the scenes at some of the tour venues. Interesting watch but if you are going for the laughs, get the tour DVD.Overall an entertaining DVD for the price.

Peter Kay Live and Back on nights !First of all I would just like to thank my postman or lady for delivering this so quickly bless them .. just when I needed a laugh when your feeling a bit down but this ..now this is something else this is quality comedy gold at yesterdays prices today get em in lolso there I was with my garlic bread .. garlic and bread ..a taste sensation that ... ! and a cup of tea coz its the first thing you drink to cool you down ! lol garlic and bread ..oh no thank you milk roll will do me lol ! anyway there I was sitting on emergency dining chair to watch the dvd and oh what a treat ! a fine coverage of some of peters best arena tours loved the bit with Gary Barlow in .. an impromptu performance of never forget ..because there is a road going down the other side of this hill ! I have to say Peter is my favourite comedian and I think he is amazing i've never laughed so much ! in fact I hurt my sides laughing so much , I realised I needed a holiday .. so I booked it I packed it and I f....d off in the sun lol! get on teletext that's what you want to do !

Funny & fascinating behind the scenes look at The Tour That Didn't Tour, Tour
Brilliant and very funny documentary following Peter Kay on the world's biggest stand up tour. The DVD includes both an uncensored version and a special "Mum's version", which is the one broadcast on Channel 4 with all the swearing covered up, so his Mum won't get upset. The negative reviews here maybe from those who bought this thinking it was the "Peter Kay Live - The Tour That Didn't Tour Tour [DVD] (2011)". This does include previously unreleased material but it is not a complete show. What you get to see is a fascinating insight into how Peter took what was initially just 4 nights at the Manchester Evening Arena into an 18 month, 140 show national tour.

My fault. I didn’t do enough research. This is just a documentary with short clips from the tour. I was disappointed but probably because I was hoping it was a show. I’ve seen quite a bit of it before on tv

A Great Laugh
If you like Northern humour you'll love this. It is the video of the making of The Tour That Didn't Tour. Watch this before you get 'The Tour' DVD. It has lines and scenes in it that don't make it to the final DVD. I've watched it several times and still laugh.
