Hayward ECX270861 Boxed Pressure Gauge Replacement for Select Hayward Sand and D.E. Filter

This pressure gauge works great, I recommend it.

A perfect replacement pressure gauge. We just screwed the old one off and replaced with the new one. Very easy!

It’s really pretty straightforward. It’s a functional gauge. I took the old one off and put this new one on in about three minutes. It works just perfectly fine.

They work as intended but the average life span seems to be about 2.5 years. I hope I get at least 2 years from my next one.

Our Sand and gravel filter pressure gauge gave out over the winter even thought the Hayward filter is only a few years old. (Our swim season is only June through August) This arrived quickly, was easy to install and does exactly what it should. It makes it really easy to see when the pressure is up and the filter needs backwashing. Plus it's easy to read - sometimes they make things with really small numbers, but these are easy to read even without my glasses.

I wish all of the parts on my pool were as easy to install as this. Already had the thread tape on it, so it arrived ready to install. Quick turn of a wrench and the old one was off. I did watch a YouTube video that provided the tip of unscrewing to remove the little clear viewing bubble on the filter for easier access. That helped a lot. Overall great, easy to install product.
