I almost did not buy these stickers because of a couple of negative reviews from people saying that these stickers were made of paper and the lettering wore off quickly and pointing people to other stickers that are available from some other third party vendors for $14. But the difference in price (and my suspicions that the negative reviews were planted by people connected to the vendors of overprice stickers) made me give them a try. I am so glad I did.There stickers are made of quality vinyl - not paper. On the back it states they were manufactured by Oraject Digital Printing Media. The quality was such I could not imagine how other reviewers were saying the lettering would ware off in a week, but not wanted to write a review calling other reviewers liars without some testing I took the space bar sticker (which I was not going to use) and soaked it for an hour in hand cleaner, then rinsed it in water, then rubbed it vigorously with a washcloth for minute. Even after all that abuse, there was not the slightest fading or smearing of the printing.The reason I went to all of this trouble was that I was really angry. I was angry because I almost believe the negative reviews and passed over these very good stickers for a reasonable price and almost bought what looks to be almost identical stickers for $14 all because of what I can only assume were lies by people intent on ripping off myself and other visually handicapped people.These are very good stickers. They stick well, but can be pulled off and moved. The letters are very bold and make seeing the keyboard easy. They are of good quality vinyl and I believe will probably last for years. Also, the vendor mailed them out the day I ordered them and they arrive 2 days later.

This would be a 5-star product IF it was actually specifically for my Dell Inspiron 17 keyboard. I made it fit by trimming the function keys and the whole upper row, plus all the numerals (3 star). Having said what I didn't like let me tell you what I do like. Very visible letters (white on black) because they are over-sized (5-star); easy to trim and to apply (5 star); have been using them daily and NO SLIPPAGE of any letters (4 star), and that will be 5 star if I can say the same thing in one year. I might even forgive the trimming and make the whole rating 5 star at that time. Extra note if you are replacing other keyboard stickers: alcohol and Q-tips to clean the keys after removing the old stickers and some canned air to blow the trash away will make applying these stickers and give them a better than average chance of being 5 star next year and the year after. Take your time cleaning and applying and you will be pleased. ADDED after one year: I will also add that after a period of time the stickers did start to move in particular if you, like me, are not a touch-typist. (I use the Biblical typing system, i.e. "seek and ye shall find" but my contact is usually at an angle so I make the movement worse than it has to be.) I added a keyboard cover (designed for my model laptop) over the stickers and now I am REALLY pleased. I bought these large letters for my work keyboard because most of my frequently used letters had worn off, and the ones that had not were small. I am near sighted and over 40, so I need bifocals also. I have a Microsoft ergonomic keyboard at work that is a few years old. It works great, with the exception of the letters having worn off of the keys. These letters work well with my keyboard, and are more visible than the ones that are printed on the keyboard. I had to cut a couple of the stickers to fit my keys, such as my number 6 key for above the letter keys as the one on my keyboard is curved (see picture) and some of the stickers were just too large such as both Shift keys and the Enter/Return key (shown on pictures). I have also included pictures of the number pad that I did not re-label and I also did not re-label my function keys as they have other functions listed on them I did not want to cover up. I included a picture of the stickers that are unused, so these can be seen. I will probably add the stickers to my number pad and the ones to the home, insert, delete area. The F and J keys have a small cut out at the bottom of the sticker for the little nubs found on most keys, You can kind of see this on the sticker sheet, and these cut outs did fit the nubs on the keys on my keyboard. They keys have a nice feel to them and they stick well on the keys. I have had them on for a month now and none of them are peeling. I use the keyboard constantly M-F. These stickers were more expensive than others, but they were available with Prime shipping, which made the price about equal, and they were large print, which I like. I would recommend to anyone needing to recover their keys.
