Best scooter for heavy people
I've been using this scooter for like a month or two now? Use it mostly to get to work. I'm roughly 330 pounds, 6 foot and it works perfectly. Feels extremely smooth to ride, good weight so it doesn't feel like it'll fold under pressure, very tall so I don't have to hunch over to use it. My only complaints are that the handle bars are too close together and the place where you put your feet is not wide enough. Aside from that, it's perfect.I was worried about the price, as it costs like 150 more than the other scooters but it's performance and build quality are perfect for the price. If your on the fence about the scooter, don't be, buy it!

Very sturdy for what you pay for
I got this scooter so I could ride from my car and back to my apartment since the parking sucks and I have to park, up to, several hundred feet away.In my opinion, it does this very well. The metal is thick and doesn't jiggle or rattle. On the bottom of the "board" is a metal frame for great support. I weigh nearly 300lbs and it hasn't creaked or shifted at all.Folding the scooter up is very easy with the two buttons near the front wheel. I haven't had this button get stuck yet, as other people have. According to the company, if it does, you just need to spray it with some WD-40.Extending and contracting the handle bar is easy with the latch they have, although it can be difficult to put it back down since it has to be able to stop any of your weight from forcing the bar back down.I'd say the instructions are pretty spot on. I thought the breaks were weak until I read the pamphlet it came with, which stated that the breaks aren't meant to stop you instantly in case you stop too hard and fly off. Instead, they're meant to gradually slow the wheels, although you'll have to pull the handle break as hard as you can if you're going downhill or otherwise faster than usual. Another thing with the handle break is that it feels like it's in an awkward position, where you really have to stretch your fingers out to grasp it.Now, the only issues I have with the scooter are the quality of foam for the handlebars and the rear break. The foam is very minor, so I doubt it'd wear out with careful use, but I think I would prefer rubber gripped-handles.The rear break is major, in my opinion. Instead of any springs or hinges, the rear break is one piece of flexible plastic with a break pad underneath, so you simply have to bend the plastic down a few millimeters until it touches the break. I feel like over time, using this break might cause it to snap. I barely use it compared to the handle break, so it might take a while for that to happen.

Sturdy, easy to ride
Very sturdy, wheels roll well. Seems like a product that will last. I like that replacement parts are available from website. Locking mechanism a little stiff out of box, hopefully with time it will be easier to press button, but when folded holds well. Compact and easy to carry. Keep mine in the trunk of my car for when I want to park but get around easier than walking downtown. Saves energy but also a good workout. Can handle an adult sized person.

Works for me!
I'm a 45 year old woman who doesn't exercise much. I wanted something to keep up with my granddaughter when she rides her bike. This scooter can hold my weight and is very fast. I had no issues riding it and I also get a little work out. I mostly used it on the sidewalks in my community and also tried it on the road. It rides really well on smooth surfaces like a sidewalk or smoothly paved road. So far I'm really enjoying this. Instead of driving to the mailbox with my car, I ride the scooter. This is well made and doesn't make any noises. The brake works really well also. It folds up when you are finished for easy storing. I saw other models that were much cheaper but the reviews and weight limit lead me to chose this one. I'm so glad I spent the extra money and got the right one for me and one that will hold up. I also like that it is made in America!

Fun and well made.
This scooter is a lot of fun to ride. I mostly use it for trips under 2 miles. I chose this scooter because I am just a little too heavy for other scooters and usually carry a bookbag which would only add to the weight. Even if you don't weigh over 220, this is still a great scooter to get. It is superior to other scooters out there. The wheels are bigger than other scooters which makes it go over sidewalk cracks and bumps smoother. It glides smoothly and for a long time. The brakes work well. When going down a steeper hill, I usually use both hand and rear wheel brakes. It is light and convenient for taking into buildings once you get to where you are going. My only issue was the quick release latch. After my second time riding the scooter, it got stuck and I could not get the scooter to fold. I see a lot of reviews mentioning this and know someone else who had this issue so this seems to be a common problem. I emailed the company and their solution is to spray the latch with a lubricant (I used WD-40) and hit it with a hammer. I did this and was able to get the latch working again.

Well made and brings the kid back out of you
I bought this to be able to enjoy the outdoors with my two young sons and their scooters. I am a big guy so it was very hard to find a scooters that can handle mid 200 lbs This scooter is built like a tank and very well made and rated to 800lbs. My only complaint is don’t rely on the front hand break, if you do so in an emergency you can go over the handle bars

Fun & functional
This scooter was purchased to shorten my commute to work. It folds easily so I can store it out of the way, and unfolds easily so I can be on my way. I picked this one because I wanted one that didn't run off of battery or electric, it's assembled in the US, designed by race car engineers, and I can easily obtain and replace parts on it if necessary. I also don't have to worry about getting a flat tire. It's an absolute joy to ride, and it glides smoothly over pavement. The only thing I'd like to note, however, is that, if the pavement you are riding over is pitted out or uneven, it will slow you down and you will feel it, but I really feel like that's a pavement problem, not a scooter problem. I am happily enjoying my new ride!

Sturdy and fun
My man-child loves this new scooter! His feet fit on the board and he loves the handbrake. Great for larger kids/adults.
