Box says OEM on it and yes it is an exact fit. Water flow is like new again.

Not compatible with Samsung RFG297-AARS
My existing water valve was hardwired into the valve and I would have had to cut the harness and improvised to attach to this valve, Did not work for me so I returned the valve for a refund
