(1 Skein) Lion Brand Yarn Homespun Bulky Yarn, Painted Desert

We use Home Spun yarn in our church knitting group for shawls. The variety of colors is wonderful!

I have been working withyarn for 50 years. I have come across many different types of yarn.In my humble opinion, I have never used a yarn that gives me more trouble. It splits, unravels, bunches up, and all around gives me a headache.I have tried making different items and have troubles getting them to look nice.I will not use this type of yain the future.I have used this brand before and never had a problem.Just this type of yarn.I have favorites and will continue going back to themI hope this saves you a little time and money and effort.

Fun to knit. I made a gorgeous afghan for my daughter-in-law which she adores.

Very difficult to work with especially if you drop a stitch and once you have your final product, the yarn does not appear to be very sturdy in that the fibers get onto EVERYTHING after you wear it and the more you wear it, it seems to get worse, making for lots of fuzz. It's really a shame because the range of colors and gradations are really nice and that's why I purchased it to begin with. Just really disappointed in the actual material of the yarn.
