I needed to have a two prong to three prong converter with a switch. This extension cord fit the bill. Unfortunately, the sockets are weak and the plugs in them don't stay.

These are made rather cheaply from China. One of them shorted out right as I plugged it in. Others are working ok for now. Wouldn’t trust them long term.

Is perfect for my older home that does not have the 3 prong outlets. Could not find anything in the stores. I love this one. It works great and feel sturdy.
