"Vintage Soft Faux Leather" -- wow that's false advertising! It's a piece of thin black cheap material on a piece of cardboard. It's a nice sized blank book with lots of pages which is what I was looking for to use as a writing/art journal but I feel the book would fall apart quickly. It doesn't feel sturdy at all and the pages aren't bound to the spine very well. The pages are thin so if you want to use any media other than an ink pen you'll definitely be disappointed 🙁 and since you have to force the book open (it doesn't lay flat) I can see the pages will eventually start falling out. For the price I wasn't expecting extra thick pages with a luxurious cover but I WOULD expect it to be better made. If you're looking for a thick journal to use casually for notes, etc. this may be satisfactory; I wouldn't recommend this product if you want longevity in a personal journal.

Love it. I wrote a play and have a minor character that is a preacher performing a wedding ceremony. We pull an audience volunteer up and need to have lines hidden for them. I figured a Bible is the perfect cover, but didn’t want to write the lines in a real one, so I found this. Looks nearly identical to a real Bible. Even has two ribbons for bookmarks where I marked the pages with the lines. There are a lot of pages, perfectly sized for more common uses such as drawing or writing. I am excited to use this book for my daily musings once the show wraps.

I use it for journaling. The pages are thick so ink doesn't bleed through. It's small in size and fits well in my bag.
