Great product. Exactly what I expected it to be.

This was my second order for this elastic. I am making masks designed to go around the back of the head and neck.I ordered a cheaper one when I ran out of black that I thought was the same, but was a different weave and too soft and stretchy.( I kept it for over ear masks). I reordered and got this, the one in the middle of the picture. You can see it’s supposed to be the same size. However, it actually is just a little wider and close up you can count the rows of elastic in the weave. The original black and white has 4, the replacement spool has 5 an is just a little wider. That being said, it seems to have the same stretch and works the same for my purpose, so I kept it. Don’t know if this was just a temp glitch in the manufacture but, just a heads up if it matters for you project. Neither goes through the little Silicone adjuster beads for over ear masks, but it does still work for the hard plastic pony beads I use for the over head design. Happy masking.....unfortunately looks like we’ll still be sewing of awhile🥺 I gave it a 4 star for the discrepancy in the manufacture and also because the original spool of black had some short sections that were woven poorly and I needed to cut out, the white was perfect 🤷‍♀️

We have a auto split king bed and had a set of sheets that we dearly loved the color and smoothness, but the elastic in the bottom fitted sheets had failed completely. I wanted to see if I could replace it, so I ordered this roll and watched a few videos on YouTube to see the best way to do it. After I got about half way through the first sheet, I decided the love affair was over and I would just have to find a new love. Fortunately, now with modern fabrics, even the lower cost sheets are very soft and nice to sleep on. This elastic worked well for replacing the elastic in the fitted sheets, but it is a PITA to do the replacement. Good luck if you want to try.

Exactly what I wanted.

The quality of the elastic is great for the money, but as several other reviews noted, the color is way off from the product listing. I ordered five different colors beige, cream, khaki, nude and tan hoping one would be close to a lightish nude shade, but none really are. Khaki, cream and nude are pretty dark and nearly identical. Tan is slightly lighter and what I’ll keep that would work best for a range of neutral . Beige has strong golden tones. Hope this helps for anyone who really needs a color match.
