I've had these pearls for a few years now and they never fail to impress. All dark pearls are classified as black and these are the darkest to be found that aren't dyed. The variation in color and subtle metallic sheen adds to the glamor of the pearls. The length is generous enough to allow for different configurations. I've even mixed this strand with a shorter black strand of the more common blue-black pearls with excellent results. HinsonGayle has become my go to place for pearls of all kinds.

I agree with other reviewers that this necklace has a lot going for it. The pearls are a nice size, have unique shapes and markings, and feature beautifully varigated colors.My only complaint is that they're advertised as black and mine are DEFINITELY all shades of gray.
