Absolutely diabolical service and product - AVOID. Not one star it is none, but that's not a choice
Absolutely diabolical service. Purchased two lamps on 7th September 2020. Both went dim at one end in mid-March 2021, not what you would expect for a £130 lamp. I wrote to Lampenwelt via Amazon on 25th March to replace them both. So far (I write this on 12th May 2021) only one has been replaced. They are now blaming the delay on Brexit. Well, Brexit was decided in 2016, so how this is a problem in Spring of 2021 is beyond me. Have had to contact Amazon by phone to escalate already, getting bored now. I had to write this in an email as they did not seem to know what to do...A. I have removed the defective lamp and packaged it ready to be returned to you. DONEB. It is in the box and packaging that the replacement unit was sent in. DONEC. The new one is in place and works perfectly. DONED. You now need to send me details of how to return the defective unit. DONEE. I will return it to you at your expense DONEF. You will send me the second replacement unitG. I change the defective unit for the replacement one. Hopefully it works correctlyH. I package the second defective lamp in the packaging just receivedJ. You send me details of how to return itK. I send back the second defective lampI am waiting for them to do stage F. A whole two months after advising that their product is defective.
