Birds Mini Stained Glass Coloring Book (Dover Little Activity Books: Animals)

These pictures once colored looked like real stained glass. The description of each bird supplied really helps in coloring the bird correcly. I'm going to put finished "stained glass" on my window.. Easy to do but great impact for the effort. Really Nice little book.

Very easy to use, and an OK little birdy book for your money. Works with highlighter markers too, if you love bright/neon colors. Fits in the pocketbook/pocket and great for busting boredom.

Didn't expect them to be miniature color Books but they are still worth it

I love the tiny size. I am bringing as a gift so we haven't tried them yet, but I bought the recommended type of markers. The size looks just right for 6-10 year olds to be able to complete.

I LOVE these little Dover stained glass coloring books. I've purchased about 10 different varieties of them and we keep going through them. They're small, only 8 pages in each book, but well worth the money in my opinion. When my kids and I get one we sit down and do it all at once then add them to our window. I've found that markers work better at first, but fade quicker than colored pencils so we opt to use those. I highly recommend as a quick activity that you can use for awhile

So cute! Fun to paint. It has the bird species and descriptions of their coloration which I found very educational. I get tons of compliments from visitors. Sharpies are best. I painted both sides of the page for more vibrant colors.

Great LITTLE coloring book!! Small (4x6" book!) but I love this bc pages can be completed quickly. Great bc the pictures are printed on vellum, which means you can tape them up to a window and it looks like stained glass! Tips: color both sides for more vibrant pictures and place a plain white piece of paper or cardstock behind picture so the lines from the following page do not show through. I used sharpies and colored pencils on these and it worked great. I ordered 3 more: cats, butterflies and flowers. :)

I have purchased several of the Dover Little Activity Books to create extra special Christmas gifts for the children of two families. The vast variety of activities provided in these books will no doubt provide them with several hours of screen-free entertainment!!

Find it hilarious and sad that most if not all of these little books would have 5 stars if people would just read how small they are, they are about half the size of a normal coloring book and like it says comes with 8 pages they are mildly see through so they can look like stain glass on a window, anyway great book colored in 3 pages in the first day I had it plan on ordering a few more some point in the near future super happy with the first one

For anyone who doesn't realize it owing to the price (and the measurements), or look closely enough - it's a "little" book. They're terrific little pictures for taking on the go for anyone to colour. They're parchment paper, and one picture per page, just like the Dover Stained Glass full sized colouring books. You can hang then in front of a light or on a window for a nice stained glass appearance. Well worth $2 to $2.75 each.

Cute idea, but soooo small. I guess it was my fault for not reading the description, but I thought this was 8.5"x11" (like a regular colouring book). The pictures are nice, though, and it was fun for the kids to colour them and decorate our windows.
