Pure Original Ingredients Salicylic Acid 5% Solution (30 mL), Pure & Simple Serum

I'm 60 and still break out here and there. I use the 5% every day after a shower. This keeps my skin soft, despite the higher salicylic acid dose, most store bought products is 1-2%. I'm pretty much breakout free.

I have tried numerous products to help minimize the reoccurrence and treat ingrown hairs, this is the only one that has worked after 14 months of trial and error and so much money spent. I've tried TendSkin, products from the FUR line (that are annoyingly expensive) and none of them produced the results that I got with this.Within 5 days of use I have had clearer skin and no new ingrown hairs, than I have had over the past year. I do alternate with applying a lotion in between application of the salicylic acid. My skin has tough to treat sebaceous glands and the 5% wasn't overly strong, but I would say my skin's tolerance is higher than normal. This salicylic acid also has been improving my skin discoloration in the treated areas. A lifesaver.

Okay well I have vision problems I guess I didn't do that I rate it a very good product for the price it's efficient it worked on my nose I'm sorry I'm not using good grammar I'm talk texting I have a lot of reviews to do right now I will say it worked really well on the side of my leg where I was getting like a little bit of bumps from that I guess exfoliating enough it worked overnight I worked as an esthetician for 8 years so I know a lot about products it's a low grade 4% but I'll tell you it worked really well I don't recommend leaving it on overnight but I did however you know I don't follow protocols very often I would rather have a burn mark and see results and see nothing at all that's made I don't recommend you do that at all I like this product I'd buy it again it made improvements overnight with my legs upper legs thighs whatever I said earlier I'm a real reviewer sorry and I have a lot of stuff to do tonight

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to for this. This serum is amazing. My skin was breaking out so bad, but I used this, and in three days my face started clearing up. Dark spots were fading too. I was like, “What in the world is happening?” Seriously, buy this. It works, and you won’t regret it.

Works, you have to give it a little time to show the results.

I guess I overlooked a detail when buying this product. I have used it literally only 3 times because I found out that this is not your average regular serum , you have to leave it on the skin for 2 to 5 minutes and then rinse with water!!! That detail has had me rarely use the product. Also I feel a slight heating sensation when applying this to my face, idk if that's normal but if anyone else feels the same then it's probably the way the product works I guess. My skin is sensitive but not so much like other people if that helps any of you. It's It's great value for the price and the texture is great like any serum. Have I seen any changes for rhe few days I did use it? Afterwards yes I seen minor details with my pores a smaller acne but again I only used it a few times , I will most likely come back for an update but I wish it was written in more bolder letters that's this is a (rinse off serum) that way I would of bought the other version and saved my self an extra two steps in my nightly skin routine.

This is The Missus reviewing.I'll probably buy this again.I got this because 2% does nothing for the sebaceous filaments on my nose. This closed up the pores quite a bit and also made the sebum easier to squeeze out after cleansing (Yes, I know. Bad but satisfying). I didn't flake, but my skin got really taut and shiny then sort of wrinkled. It didn't sting my nose and barely stung on my cheeks along side my nose. I left it on, i.e. didn't bother with a neutralizer. I haven't seen any improvement in dark spots, though.Just a note: the safety of propylene glycol is still a point of contention in the skincare industry. That said, I would rather have it replaced with something not petroleum-based.

The way they describe this is as if it is something super strong that you should only leave on for a short time and then rinse off. I didn't find it that way at all. Maybe I just have skin that's used to salicylic acid, but I just rubbed it all over my face my neck and dabbed it under my eyes and left it on all night. I've never had to wash it off. I've never found it to be irritating in any way. I've even used it on other parts of my body at times. I used to use Neutrogena Clean and Clear Spot Treatment with 2.5% salicylic acid but then I decided to try this which says it has double the amount of salicylic acid. I'm not sure how accurate that is, but it will say it's a good product and it seems to do well on my skin without any negative effects. I guess, depending on your skin type, maybe just test it out on small areas. But I use it just like any other Serum at night.
