365 Days of Hoodoo: Daily Rootwork, Mojo & Conjuration

I am absolutely pleased with this book. This is my first purchase of a book concerning Hoodoo and Magic(although i have been practicing casting and spell work for over a year now. I appreciate the fact that the author of this book took her time in gradually introducing and explaining each subject/topic. She makes it seem so simple and understandable and that made me feel very comfortable. I purchased this book on Saturday November 9th and i received it yesterday which was November 12th. It was slated for delivery on Sunday November 10(i have prime so i get next day delivery) but the postal carrier had a slight slip up with the package. My initial intent was to save it and begin to read and study it for the new year, however my curiosity and anticipation got the better of me. I would most definitely recommend this book to others who are just getting started on their path of casting, spell work and hoodoo. I am definitely going to look into other books by this author. SIMPLY GREAT!!!!!

Beginner friendly

The book is awesome, very good reading and it is loaded with spells.....I love it.....

This is a beautiful and beginner friendly book I'll be reading from it daily so many neat things inside the pages I've skipped thru and read a chapter or 2 in the last few days I'm glad I chose this one. Plan on getting a few more books soon alot of the things can be found all over in the south I'm in arkansas and have some of the plants right in my backyard I didn't even know could be used :)

Edit: the information seems thorough enough, but unless you live nearby a curio store it's impossible to follow this daily as a beginner. I agree with another review that a weekly or monthly shopping list should be included. I pre-ordered this book and finally received it a few days ago. I purchased with the intent to start my journey into Hoodoo for the New Year, one day at a time. It is killing me to not open it until then. I have been researching hoodoo and gathering books to study more about it since earlier this year. I wanted to learn something more in line with my ethnicity, history, and spirituality. I am thankful to find a black author who has expertise and knowledge in the field. Wish me luck! I will update review once I begin conjuring.

This author - and I cannot stress this enough - is the real deal. Her writing is eloquent and the info is fascinating. I'm a bit overwhelmed with it all, esp since my first spell worked. If you are only going to get 2 books, get this one and Mama Marie's 7 in 1 Hoodoo Bible and you'll be straight.

I love this so much and I'm so happy I got it.

Fabulous book. Informative. Also an encouraging read uplifting aids towards for daily spiritual growth.
