Extech CA900 Wide Carrying Case for MultiMeter Kits

Folkz, we felt we had to write a good review for this fine product. Amazon has hit another one outta the ballpark for offerin good products! We bought this case for th latest one ta graduate from tech school. He did electronics and we bought him a great set a tools off Amazon (natcherlly) and I found a good deal on a Extech multimeter. This multimeter was quite a monster and we needed a good size case. This one has fit th bill with room ta spare and a place ta store test leads and th like. Not only that but its made o that nylon stuff that's good and rugged and easy ta clean. He'll be usin this case for years!!!

The case managed the extra probes that I got. Only complaint is the lettering is upside down. Not big deal breaker for me but it works and good quality.

The case supplied with the Extech EX505 DMM is a nice case, but cannot carry everything I need for automotive work. So after purchasing the Extech EX505 meter, and trying to pack all my stuff in the supplied case, I gave up and went searching for a larger bag. The online information for the Extech CA900 bag seemed to fit my needs perfectly, and when I received it...it was perfect!I don't like to store the test leads wrapped around the unit and stored in the rear of the housing (like most meters are designed). This case allowed me to store the leads while still connected to the meter, without winding them up around the meter.I have a separate small pouch that stores the various alligator clips, plunger style hooks, back probes, etc. and the pouch is stored inside the CA900 bag.The bag has straps to hold the meter and my pouch on the right side, and a real nice pair of clear vinyl pockets on the left side. I use the vinyl pockets to hold the owner's manual for the meter, as well as some reference tables and formulas I use.This bag is perfect!

This case (medium - 409996) fits my Extech EX330 perfectly, including the leads and the temp probe. you could probably fit a more few little things in there, but not very much. At first, I ordered the small (409992). Don't make this mistake if buying for the EX330. The meter itself might fit the small case, but really too small for the leads. I returned it and got this medium case. The case is like a nylon Cordura-type material. It has a belt loop with a metal snap. Inside, it has nylon pockets on each side. The tall pocket is good for the leads, and the shorter one holds the meter. Perfect.

It fits my VTVM perfectly. Along with leads and extra clips. The manual also. Good fit and finish. a a

To tight of a fit.But nice quality.

Case works fine on my model EX230 meter. Offers good protection and has pockets on both sides for storage. I use one side for the meter and the other side for the leads. It's all you need.

This carrying case has a very nice feel and my meter fits quite nicely inside it. The zippers on the case feel solid and reliable. I am very happy with my new case!
