The thing about product reviews is sometimes they are subjective. Or the customer was unlucky enough to have received something (or several) that was in some way faulty. This probably explains the huge variation in almost all product reviews.In regards to this product, my own personal experience is very positive. I bought a pair of these. One for myself and one for my brother. I use it when I go fishing, or shooting. Sometimes I even just fill it up for use in my man cave to save me from having to go downstairs to make a coffee when I am busy with some project. So far, both flasks have mostly lived up to our hopes and expectations.It feels sturdy but the lid hinge does feel a little flimsy and could easily break if care is not taken. That being said, I have had no issues so far. The seals on the spout tube work well and it does feel like a vacuum has been created once you have pumped it.As for how long it keeps my beloved coffee hot, I can say that after eight hours or so it is still plenty hot enough to enjoy.Yes you still receive a drink with that unmistakeable "flask taste" but I love these things and would recommend them

Bought this due to prevent using too much electric, my husband is a tea addict so kettle is on constantly. He fills it up at 6:30am which lasts me all day (last 2 cuppas are drinkable but not boiling). I refill at 3pm and it lasts us through the evening. Our kettle is 1.8l so plenty more room. Hubby took it on day out and water kept warm for him all day, saved a fortune to buying tea when out! I think it's sturdy buy others who may be a little heavy handed may have concerns about hinge, no problems for us so far.Mother in law wants one for Xmas so will definitely recommend.

Really large and good value for money. In order to keep the hot drinks hot, the flasks needs pre warming. Only half filling the flask will not keep your drinks hot for as long as if you fill it right to the top. Cold drinks stay really cold!

I used it to go an watch motoracing for the day and it kep the coffe hot all day. Perfect for the job.

Very impressed by long it keeps the water hot. The boiling water originally poured in was still hot to touch 24 hours later (obviously not hot enough for tea but plenty hot enough to add to the washing up water!).

Great deal but disappointed the drink does stay hot cools quicker than they say

Best flask I have ever bought. We made a coffee early in the morning for a long journey and it was still scolding hot the following morning!! Holds such a lot too. Love that it swivels, and the pump is brilliant. About the 3rd time I used it, it didn’t keep as hot for as long… but I’m hoping that’s because I didn’t prime it directly before using it, I did it about an hour before using. Next time I’ll prime it properly and hopefully it’ll be as good and as hot as the first time! Perfect for days out and long drives which we do a lot!!

These are well made and keep water hot all day. We boil a full kettle first thing and this keeps us in hot drinks all days. We can make approx 16 mug (Average size) of tea or coffee etc so this is actually saving us 5 or 6 boils of the kettle a day, which given the increase in electric costs it's a really great purchase.
