**** Update 30 July: Two weeks ago my belt split as some of the other purchasers have also stated. I used the belt approximately 2-3 times a month since I bought it at the end of October. I contacted costumer service to see if they could do anything to rectify the situation and they said the belt was no longer covered by warranty and could instead give me a 30% discount. They must not care about return customers as this is clearly a known issue with their belt. Botton line, pass on this.So far, I'm very happy with the belt as I begin to break it in. The metal portion of the belt hasn't gotten in the way at all during my Olympic Lifts and the is Velcro very secure. My favorite characteristic is that there is just the slightest amount of elasticity in the belt. This enables you to get an extremely snug fit but allows for a small bit of expansion while you're at the bottom of a deep squat. I'll update once it's totally broken in with my opinion on fit/wear and tear.

Initial thoughts on this belt were great. I love the color and pattern scheme and fit was perfect and range of motion and stability using this belt was awesome.I’ve bought to of these now and am still in comms with Bear KompleX in regards to the issues I have with both belts. The material inside the fabric ripped all the way through in two places on my first belt after just over a year of use. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I contacted them and informed them of the broken belt and they offered a discount for another belt. I opted out of the discount and purchased another belt. I’ve had it less than two months and the second belt broke almost in exact same spot. I’m currently dealing with them again in regards to this matter. Their customer service is great and as I said I love the product I just hope I can figure out why it keeps breaking.

I have always been told that Bear Komplex made high quality products. I have not found that to be true at all. I had the belt for less than 8 months and it failed during a lift. All the company would offer me was a discount on the same belt. I am extremely disappointed in Bear Komplex and do not plan to ever purchase their products again!!

Belt works and provide the support but the fabric started tearing around the velcro the first time I used it. Not impressed with the durability.Update: fully tore through support material. I’ve had it less than a week. Will be asking for a refund.

Great belt however there is rust pitting starting on the metal loop. Did not notice it upon first arrival so I imagine it was from sweat or moisture from gum bag being zipped closed in pocket. I've wiped it down since noticing but once rust starts, you know what happens. Not sure the finish they use but not good, would prefer a stainless material.Contacted customer support thru website, no response so that's not good either.I'll keep using it cause it is comfortable, quick, and provides good support during none heavy days, just enough for core stability.

I’ve owned a harbinger 4” belt for around 10 years and just wanted a second belt to keep at home. This belt feels cheaply made by comparison. Two things stood out specifically. The buckle side tie-down is not stitched the full length of the belt, only about two and a half inches. The American flag print is sewn onto the outside with a material that resembles panty hose and does not feel durable in the least. Had high hopes but at this price point I’m guessing your paying for some sort of name recognition but I’d never even heard of this brand to begin with. Feels cheap bottom line.

Velcro started coming apart less than 5 months after use (used maybe 1-2x/week). Emailed the company over a month ago as Amazon did not have an option to return, no response fromBear complex. Would not purchase again with poor customer service.

So far so good! The fit is right on! Felt great out of the box. Used it today and in love! The lightening bolt pattern is so fun! Gonna get lots of use out of this and I’m so excited! For size reference...i was on the border of XS versus S so I ordered both, and the S fits best.

Used it for 2 sessions. deadlifts and front squat. Ripped at the join, very disappointed. Bear Komplex are being pushed as a top brand but this product seems cheap in material. size and dimensions are ideal so really is disappointing.

Good fit with strong velcro fastening, but the belt ripped after only moderate use.

Great belt, good fit worth the money.
