I have been looking for good report/portfolio folders to help me organize my very document heavy college coursework for quite a while now.. My degree will always be document heavy so finding the right folders/binders is imperative. Like a very very long time. I've tried multiple different folders, binders and so forth, nothing really doing what I ultimately need. Now my intent was to break down my course work into assignment sections while keeping it bound and readily accessible. So I saw these and figured WTH, I'll try. WOW so impressive, being able to organize my course work i.e. units/modules to work on specific assignments without toting around everything is such big help. Them being flexible, but not too flexible is a huge game changer for me. Like I said, I've tried many other options all of which have hindered me in big ways one way or another. So far no hindrance here. I don't do really heavy writing in my lap or while holding, but I do highlight, take margin notes and such and do so without issue with these. I can see immediately what unit/week I need without opening them and can even put my tabs on my papers (pictures attached) and though I wasn't precise on all the tabs, they don't stick out from the folder while closed or open, unless you're sloppy about it or your tabs are too long. Mine are good and thin and stay inside, although I was in a hurry so they are tad sloppy here. The method of binding was a bit of worry for me, but turns out it's quite perfect. I was thinking it would be too flimsy, but I've been pleasantly surprised. I already use a hole punch for my docs anyway, so that was no problem. I took several close up photos so you could see the inside of the folder and the clasps clearly to know what you'd be working with. The metal strip holding the paper is somewhat adjustable. If one side is too long, just stretch it out straight and adjust away. The white middle piece is of a flexible plastic but not too flexible and all together holds incredibly well. I haven't filled them to compacity yet, and from what I've filled them with so far, I doubt I will, they all still have plenty of usable space (but I do breakdown my course work as stated before). For their intended purpose, they are far more impressive to me than I thought they would be. I was almost prepared to be returning them before they even arrived, but instead I have throughly enjoyed them and even ordered more. I practically never write reviews, as I often have limited time.. But I absolutely had to here. Now they may not be what you need, but that's why I took the time here, because I was skeptical when ordering due to lack of pictures showing the whole folder and how it holds. So I hope this helps!

Very nice folders, used for a real estate presentation. Definitely helped with making it look more professional.

We use these for product documents that we give to customers. Cheaper / smaller than a small binder - more durable than a paper version. We use these all the time to hold around 30 sheets of paper and great part is the front cover is clear so we use our graphic for the product in color as the face page. Good job AMAZON on this product.

Good enough if you're putting out reports on a weekly basis and want to save some money. The pocket in the back is nice to put an invoice for your client. If you're doing a thesis, I'd get something slightly more professional.

Just what I needed to organize the instruction booklets that come with each little appliance. It is nice to have a clear front cover which eliminates the need to label each folder. I just got them so I do not know how sturdy or durable they will be, but they most likely will be quite adequate for long-term use.
