Purchased 2 of these and mounted with 2.5" brackets to wall with bulbs facing up for optimal brightness behind dresser to illuminate room. No, I don't have a mirrored ceiling or vibrating bed. From a guy who grew up on Star Wars, this setup delivers ultra-illuminacity and fully meets expectations with multiple colors. Illuminescence in an upscal non-cheesy way. The media could not be loaded.  Worked out perfect for what I bought it for! I etch glass and then make a base for each glass piece I make, with the idea of putting an led light in the base. I always have a difficult time looking for the perfect led light for my pieces. Depending on who I'm making each piece for battery operated, USB, remote, no remote, warm light, white light, different color lights, odd shapes and sizes. This light fit perfectly and puts out enough light for what I'm using it for. I also love that it came with magnets so i was able to easily attach to the bottom if the base and my client wont have a difficult time replacing batteries and putting back together. Easy to operate. Worked out perfectly! And my client was extremely pleased!

I bought two of these and used them on my last two camping trips. They survived being left on for over 5 hours a night and I didn't have to replace the batteries all week. I used these to light up my tent and they were perfect for ambient task work lighting as well as dim, sleepy-time lighting. They take 6 AA batteries and have no other option for power which can be a burden in the wilderness, rechargeable batteries may be in my future. There are little super strong magnets on the underside that allow the unit to be stuck just about anywhere, I'm not even sure I saw the magnets being advertised! The colors you can choose from are slightly less diverse than other bulbs I've used, you can choose standard RGB colors, soft white and there are 12 or so greens, oranges and purples you can select from. My only issue was the remote seemed to die off at about 12 feet away, but seeing as I was able to turn the lights on and off THROUGH THE TENT WALLS, I think it worked pretty well. I kept one remote in my pocket and one in the tent, it was perfect. Overall a very fun product and feels sturdy, I guess only time will tell how long they stay this great!

I have a pretty dark office with dark green walls. In two corners, I have floating shelves with my stereo speakers on them. I've been looking for a good way to add some nice lighting behind my speakers, but I hate wires. After trying several solutions, I bought one of these lights to test. Battery life remains to be seen, but I'm very pleased with this light.Brightness is great for my needs. If you need this for a primary light source, you might want to consider more than one. I initially didn't think I would care about multicolor, but I actually like it a lot. The remote allows you to select from primary colors (red, green, blue, or white), but it also provides 5 variations of the RGB colors, so you can find just the right color for your needs.I do want to address a couple of criticisms I saw in other reviews. One reviewer said that the battery compartment was difficult to figure out. I'm not sure why that user had such a hard time. On the back side of the light, there are arrows telling you which way to slide it to open and close. It's very easy to open the compartment and install the batteries.I've also seen some comments about the remote not working. I think many people these days have become accustomed to bluetooth and other wireless technologies for remotes. This particular one uses infrared and is line-of-sight. The IR receiver on the light is the power button. In my case, I have the lights behind my speakers (Klipsch RP-160Ms if you want to know how big they are), and even though the IR receiver isn't visible, the remote works well because the IR beam is bouncing off the wall behind the speaker. I find the remote to be quite good.Overall, I think this light represents a great value. For $17 with tax and delivered, I have a great solution for mood lighting with no wires and the flexibility to change the light color as my mood changes.

Bright light, solid set of colors and effects, and easy to install.

This light did the job I wanted. I wanted to have a light that was colored or could light up my knife and gun cabinet. I could’ve use RGBLED light strips, but did not want to do all the connectors. This worked great was perfect length had many options for mounting magnetic hooks double sided adhesive tape. All-around great product would definitely recommend and buy again. As with any product, there are going to be products or units that are bad or do not work due to mass production so that is expected so when I read some of the reviews where light did not work or stopped working of course you were going to have some bad units here and there I have found that customer service in the past on Amazon has been very good but as everyone knows different products are sold from different people.
