Actually something worth using!
I have gone through dozens of the cheap china ones of these. I don't know where this is made but it is solid and works great. Kudos to the designer.It might be a few bucks more than the other ones but I have wasted so much on the cheap ones it is nice to have one I can count on.

Needs a bigger dial or add holes to dial!!!
The locking dial for the cold shoe either needs to be bigger in diameter or add hole so we can use a hex key to tighten it. After a few uses, the grip on the dial is already worn and soft making it hard to effectively tighten the mount.

Very Stiff & Sturdy
As a camera's cold shoe mount for a field monitor this mount is working well. My only concern is that it does not clamp down as tightly on the cold shoe as I would like, even after really muscling it tight.The tilt motion on this is very stiff. If you have a device that needs to be quickly and easily tilted with little effort this is not for you. Even when the lever is loosened I am able to grab my 7" field monitor and tilt everything with one hand and have it hold whatever angle I set it to without ever touching the lever. If you need something to hold something heavy in one set angle this will work very well.
