BlueAnt Q3 Premium Smartphone Earpiece with Wideband Audio for Android and iPhone Devices - Bulk Packaging - Black

I bought this BlueAnt Q3 because I owned one previously and really liked it but I lost it out in the woods. The previous one I owned was retail packaged and came with all original blueAnt accessories. This one was bulk packaging but I figured everything would be original BlueAnt accessories still just no fancy packaging. The earpiece itself has the same sound quality but I am not sure if it has the same product quality. After only a few days the little screen that covers the mic came loose and started poking me in the side of the face when I used the earpiece. The wall charger that came with it was some knock off (which wouldn't have even bothered me if it would have actually charged the earpiece) and when the ear piece was plugged in to it all night it still was not charged where as with my original BlueAnt wall charger (which luckily I did still have) I could plug in my ear piece and be fully charged in a few hours at most (never timed it exactly but know it did not take 10 - 12 hours). I actually thought it was the ear piece that did not work first but since I had purchased one for my husband also and his was doing the same I thought I would try our original chargers and sure enough they both worked. I would say just let people know the accessories are not original and at least send a working knock off charger. The ear piece does work good though and the sound quality and reach is just like my other BlueAnt Q3.

This was the best Bluetooth I have ever had and actually fit in my ear properly not like the ones they have now cannot use but I had several blue and Bluetooth love them they need to come back with them.

I bought this for my husband. He is a UPS driver and is on the road in a very loud truck all day. This is the second one I have bought him. He is very hard on phones and headsets and the Q3 holds up very well considering he is out in the elements all day and we live in a very cold climate. The sound quality is excellent. Calls are clear and background noise is almost nonexistent on either end of the call. The headset works and stays connected for 20-30 feet which allows him to leave his phone in the truck while on a call. While this is probably not big deal for most people as a delivery person his phone takes a lot of abuse and he has dropped and cracked the screen 3 times in 2 years. At a $150 per repair having a device that lessens the chance of breakage is a big deal for us. The voice commands are easy to use and the device responds well. I have a Q2 and was very happy with the call quality while driving my convertible, the only other brand I found to have equal noise cancellation is the Jawbone, which I have 2 versions of. However since my husbands headset suffers so much abuse the price savings won out. This comes in generic brown packaging, not the retail packaging, to us the savings is preferable to a retail box that will get thrown out. It included the charging plug/cord, and one ear piece cover.

The voice quality and ease of use is excellent. Bulk packaging no problem, just order a set of ear buds (unless you are a man with medium ears) and download the instructions from the net.I lost my 3 year old earpiece somewhere in the yard doing yard work. After researching I chose the BlueAnt Q3 based on reviews and cost, and hoped for the best. Either technology has improved or this is just an excellent earpiece, but listeners reported excellent sound and didn't know I was using a bluetooth. As for volume, I actually had to turn the volume down to about 1/3 in a quiet room, a bit over half on the road. I often could not hear well on the road with the old set.Other things I like: There is no pushing buttons once/twice/three times on the important on/off like my old set - I would end up accidentally ending a call often because I never could remember in the moment what to push. The on/off is on the inside, easy, and after a week the battery seems long lived because of it. The volume is a toggle on the top, very easy to find and use.The bud and behind the ear piece takes a few seconds longer than my old set to place in my ear, but not a problem as I really love the earpiece. And once it's placed, it never loosens or comes off my ear, which is how I lost the old one. Highly recommended.

I'm not real sure what the life expectancy should be for any earpiece ?My last few seem to have gotten to hot from sun exposure and it clogged the microphone and made them useless as the adhesive seemed to be the issue causing poor sound and people could t hear me.Have to speak loudly to answer it hands free.On/off switch on a few of them were finicky but the last two have worked great.Overall I've owned about 10 earpieces and this one is my favorite. Would like to see some different shapes and maybe slightly smaller ones, but it's not a deal breaker.It seems lots of people are looking for the caller id voice annoince feature and it took me a while to come across the blueant one when I searched online many years ago.I will buy again and recommend it to anyone.

i have been a fan of BlueAnt for years and they just keep getting better, i have yet to have one to last as long as they say the battery last, whether its talking on the phone or streaming video or games. i gave tis item 4 stars because of the "shorter" battery life, they all have lasted ABOUT 50% LESS, still 2 hours is good for me. i usually have two or three so its no big deal, i always have one readily charged. they are very loud. they are "in ear canal" i throw the rubber thingy away that comes w/this product & use the "comply" tips. the COMPLY tips fit The Q1, Q2 & Q3 BUT the Q3 is the hardest one to get these COMPLY tips on but it is possible. highly recommend this product
