Leaking fuel tank.
I filled it with kerosene and immediately the kerosene started dripping/streaming from the bottom! There are 3 screws on the bottom that actually pierces the fuel tank. That's where the leak is. The metal is thin, one of the screw holes is too wide, and the screws are very short. They will not tighten and stay tight, and even if they did, you can't trust that they will not loosen at any time which would cause a fire. I have never known of a kerosene heater to have screw holes directly into the fuel tank. This caused a mess of kerosene on my porch and in my house. I'm asking for a refund, but can't mail back an item that has kerosene left in it and there is no way to get every drop of kerosene out. Would not even give it one star. Will update. Update: Due to high shipping costs the company refunded one third of the purchase price and I kept the heater and am trying to repair. I covered the screw holes with JB Weld and waited a day after it dried then filled with kerosene. So far no leaks. I lit it just for a minute to see if it works. It lit fine, but chimney covering wick is pretty unstable. And with no safety switch, I really don't trust it.

Works Great with some Flaws
This little heater warms up fast! There is no auto igniter so you have to raise the globe and raise the wick to light it. Once you get it lit you raise the wick and let it warm up...just takes a short while...maybe 15-20 seconds. Then you lower the wick until you see a light blue flame around the lower edge. The blue flame indicates total combustion of the fuel. The top will come off to use as a cooker or you could heat with the top on...your choice. There is no automatic shut off of the heater that I noticed when I tried to get it to trip. So you would need to be very careful indoors with it. Also there is a very pungent odor on start up so it is important to start it in a well ventilated place. Once you have it burning with the blue flame there is no noticeable odor at all! I got right above it couldn't smell anything. Would be great for tailgating, camping, outdoor shop, and emergencies. I've only had mine a couple hours but I haven't noticed any leaks.I just want to update that I have had this kerosene heater for a few weeks now and have used it several times and I am using it now. It's not something you pull out of the box and it works great from the start. There is a get to know it time frame. The heater has to warm up and then you adjust it to get the flame as close to all blue as possible. Total blue is 100% oxygenated and less air contaminants. This heater is 9000 BTU's and it is a fuel sipper. If you fill it up is holds around 1.25 gallons and will run close to 18 hours. This is a really nice heater coming from someone that has used kero heaters since the 80's off and on. As with any heat appliance you need to take as much care as possible.
