I put two of these on my pick-up and I love them. They don't sound like a train and with only one trumpet, you get one note. If you want multiple tones, you need multiple trumpets at different lengths. Two of these make enough of a different tone to make me happy. Very effective.Ok, here we are a few months into these horns and I get a kick out of scaring friends and family members - although I have fewer friends now. Those I have do get a good laugh - regularly -Now I do have trouble with one of the compressors - I have two of these bad boys - one of the compressors won't work all the time. I have to reverse the positive and negative wires to break it loose and put oil or WD40 in it and it works for a while then it freezes again. This is the only issue I have with the horns.The issues continue. It is perhaps how the compressors are mounted or it could be that they are just not dependable long term. There are times where I get no noise at all from the horns and I need them to be effective. I hate to say it but I feel like these will be replaced very soon with a traditional compressor and tank. I hate it too because these horns look really cool.

Overall, this is a low cost DIY kit for installing an air horn in whatever you choose (evil grin)You must be comfortable with wiring and DIY automotive.I put this in an older VW with a really weak horn, these are my installation tips:* This is not waterproof. Install it as high off the ground and as protected from water and dirt as you can.* put the intake of the air pump facing upwards to reduce water splash into it if you can* this REQUIREs a relay. This pulls a lot more amps than your normal horn and will pop fuses if wired direct* 12v activated relay triggered by your existing horn. power from your battery. there's a lot of youtube videos on this if you're not sure what you're doing* put an inline fuse in the circuit after your battery so you don't catch your car on fire

Purchased to wake people up on the highway, not much louder than the stock horns on my F250. Hardest part of the install besides having to remove the entire front of the truck was finding a place to put the trumpet as it is extremely long. Wiring was plug and play, works fine with my stock horn button on the steering wheel. Customer service is excellent, they were concerned about the loudness and have contacted the manufacturer about the problems.

I’m pleased with the horn. Loud and to the point.Install was a pain, but without a direct fit application you have to make due.When I first test fired the horn it gave a mild goose honk, not loud at all. Swapped the leads and tested again. This time it was a full on train horn. So if you have problems, swap the leads and test again before condemning the compressor.

I just receive my new air horn and just finded some issues, first, no whatsoever instructions, hey, u say easy install. Second, the hose u supply is soo soft, it kincks so easy, blocking air pressure and flow. Easy fix buying 1/8 real hose. A caution for who installs this will be that the air intake is completely open, dirt, water and debris can be sucked by the pump and compromise performance. Easy fix, hot glue a new carburetor fuel filter as an air filtration; that will help expand the pump life. Also, vertically pump installation will help lower wear of the compressor. So far bench test have been good, loud and compressor is strong as advertised. Endurance review will come later. So far so good.

I installed a 5 pin relay to a 4 pin relay to install both the regular factory horn and switch it to the air-horn. Had no issues with it and it was easy for me to install.

had to order the set that had the two trumpet horns to go with the single trumpet to get the kick ASS sound that done the job , so you have three different size of trumpet.

Use this horn for my SUV truck. The only thing is that it sounds too much like a trumpet. A very deep sound. I think a high and low sound would have been better.
