Real Food From The Ground Up Cauliflower Nacho Crackers (Pack of 6)

I normally have a stash of snacks around the house to fix an instant craving or add some change of flavor to any meal, but what I found with this product is that in the way they packaged it, it's really meant for a short trip or travel, a small taste in lunch, and nothing long term. With the value in product compared to the quantity and packaging, it's nice for a small change in habits, but don't expect a big bang for your buck. Don't get me wrong here, it does pack a punch in good flavor and taste, but the crackers are very thin, and a bit fuzzy brittle, which makes for a mess with not a lot crackers.

You can check my review history if you want.However, I feel it necessary to write this review, even though it's less than 5 stars.I love cauliflower, and the cauliflower taste is fine. But the crackers are very, very salty. That's the reason for my review. I am a salt-aholic but these crackers are way too salty for me.Regarding my parrot, he eats any snack that I eat. He especially loves crackers and pretzels. But he refuses to touch these crackers, LOL. I give him one and he'll take it and immediately throw it on the floor.NOTE: For pet/parrot lovers, don't worry. He only gets healthy foods as snacks from me with the rare exceptions of crackers and pretzels. Otherwise, his snacks are slices of apples, pears, celery, carrots, etc. I thought that cauliflower crackers would be something he'd enjoy. Nope.Sorry, manufacturer. I wish I could give you a better rating.

The ingredients in the product I received differ from what is pictured to now include oat flour. Oats are gluten free but we avoid oats because celiacs may experience cross-reactivity with oats. Product is non-returnable. Just want to help inform other buyers.

Admittedly these have all good ingredients. But the texture is different, because it's plant based. When I first tasted these I expected to taste cheddar, with a cracker texture. At first I didn't like them, until I decided to not think of them as cheddar, but as another food source with it's own good flavor. I've gotten used to the texture, after realizing the texture is good in it's own way. So I'm glad to have found these, and am a happy customer. The only thing I would change is the level of saturated fats in them. Each cracker is about 1' by 1".

They are tiny, and my batch had too much salt.

I bought these wanting a healthy snack. I bought the sea salt and the cheddar ones. I really liked them both. They do have a cauliflower taste to them so if you are not a fan these may not be for you. The cheddar ones aren't as strong of a cauliflower taste because of the cheese flavor but you can still mildly taste it. I saw reviews that the crackers smell bad. I didn't think they did at all. They have a mild cauliflower smell but to me it's not strong, I actually had to stick my nose down really close to the bag to smell them. I was confused about how these are packaged because of some of the way people described them. You get 6 boxes of crackers, those boxes are just like regular crackers that you buy that has ONE BIG bag in each box. The bags have approx 176 crackers in them (that's 4 servings of 44 crackers). So if you want single servings you have to count them out and put them in baggies yourself. I like the flavor of both kinds and I ate about 10 and my craving for crunchy food was good, which is way better than eating a bunch of unhealthy chips. I will purchase these again for sure.

If you buy this get the one with flavor. My first time to much sea salt. Maybe if each one was larger more taste satisfied. Not vegan but I wanted to try it.

It doesn't taste like real cheese, but it is the best fake cheese flavoured cracker I've tried! Definitely buying again! Savoury, lightly salted, and crispy!
