So far it appears to be cheaply made, looks and feels like plastic with a stainless steel appearance. I checked the drain this morning after a few days and there was a huge line of hair that was hanging to the end of it, didn't even get caught in the actual strain. I thought I might just need a tighter fitting gasket since it seems a bit loose but the gaskets that came with it all look to be exactly the same size. I wanted this mostly for the fact that the silicone stopper collected mold fast, but so far that seems like a better product than this one.
