Planet Dog Orbee-Tuff Green Fetch Ball with Rope Dog Toy

I was skeptical purchasing this ball, as all bully breed owners might be. My dog (Chip, pictured) although a gentle cuddle bug is NOTORIOUS for breaking apart any toy in less than an hour. Tennis balls - easy. Baseballs - easy. Kong balls - easy. Literally no toy has ever lasted over a week. BUT, I am proud to report that this ball is heaven-sent. Not only is it durable beyond belief, but the color and texture is one my pup loves to this day. We’ve now had this ball for over 6 months and it’s going strong. There’s a little bit of wear and tear on the green country accents but to be honest that is of no concern - the ball is still in super functional and great shape.Thank you for making a long lasting toy that my pup is absolutely obsessed with! Will now be looking at other toys created by this brand.

Both of my dogs love these balls. I still have to watch them because they will destruct anything, but they’re great for tossing inside and throwing outside. Also big enough so I didn’t have to worry about them getting stuck in their throat

***UPDATE*** 12/18/14We have had this ball for over a month, and aside from all of the continents being torn off, it has held up! Our FozzyBear loves to chew on something soft, but he has destroyed and eaten every toy he's ever had. I've gotten the evidence picking up his beloved toys one last time in the backyard. This one is a great toy! You do HAVE to watch your dog with it while the continents are intact, but it's not a dangerous toy once they're gone. Our dog has destroyed literally EVERYTHING, and yet, the Orbee Tuff planet ball remains.------------So far, this ball has been the only thing that our monster chewer (Aussie/Great Dane mix) hasn't been able to destroy in 5 minutes or less (aside from Nylabones). Granted, he has only had his mouth on it for about an hour, but for him, that's like decades! It's nice to have a toy that's kinda soft for him to chew on, since all we've been able to give him are Nylabones, but from the pile of throw pillows from the couch that are now destroyed, I can tell that he wants something soft, which this satisfies - but without being a total waste of money. Like all the other reviews, I have to say that the "continents" come off pretty easy, but the ball itself remains intact. It smells really good too. :)I know The Fozz will be able to tear this thing apart eventually, but for the effort and time he's put into trying, it's held up well. We will buy this again, and we will certainly recommend.

Our dogs love the Planet Dog orange diamond balls, which seem to always be ou t of stock, so we tried this ball. Dogs.like it, but the continents will peel off.

My dogs love their balls but occasionally like to chew them up. This one has not suffered any damage yet and it is a size that I don't think they could easily choke on.

Our Rottweiler LOVES this ball. It has lasted so well it takes him quite a long time to destroy. And toys to not last with him and his strong jaw. The size is perfect. He brings it all over our house.

My little Scottish Terrier puppy loves this ball. He would be happy to play fetch with it for hours. We have to wash it and hide it because he can find it with his remarkable sniffer, otherwise.

My dog got bored in 20min because she couldn't get the treats out. So now she sleeps with it in her bed, with the treats inside.

Endlich ein Hundespielzeug das hält was es verspricht!!! Der Bulli liebt das Teil, kein Chemiegestank und es ist noch heil! Ich bin begeistert! Hoffe, das bleibt auch beim Langzeittest so. Da habe ich mit den sogenannten super haltbaren Kauspielzeugen nämlich keine guten Erfahrungen gemacht.OK, mein Bulldog ist ein sehr starker Kauer und hat ordentlich Beißkraft aber die meisten bisher erworbenen und nicht gerade billigen Teile waren spätestens nach 15 Minuten hinüber.Unter anderem auch die gerade für Bulldog beworbenen und auch Tiger getesteten Spielsachen. Das war im Gegensatz zum Planet Dog Spielzeug viel Geld für den Müll und ein paar Minuten Hunde Spaß.Hier bin ich bis jetzt begeistert und der Hund noch mehr! Klare Kaufempfehlung. Man sollte aber auf die Einordnung extrem dauerhaft- 5 oder 4 Knochen in der Chew-O-Meter Scala achten! Nicht alle Planet Dog Spielzeuge sind für starke oder sehr starke Kauer geignet.Update November 2019:Man sollte es kaum glauben, aber das Teil existiert immer noch!Paar kleine Schrammen, ansonsten immer noch heil.Also der Kauf hat sich gelohnt!
