Excellent Quad Cane Tip
Outstanding quad cane tip! The movable joint on it adjusts to the ground and supports my weight in all walking situations, and is very sturdy, too! Highly recommended!!!! LF

Perfect cane tip for my Mom's cane
My Mom broke her hip and the PT recommended this tip for the cane she is now using. It is perfect. Iy lands squarely on floor due to flexibility and stays stable during use. Very much recommend.

VERY HELPFUL
THIS BEATS THE NORMAL CANE FOR FLEXIBILITY AND SECURITY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. WISH IT CAME WITH A CANE BECAUSE ADAPTING IT IS HARD. DIFFICULT TO PUSH ON THE BOTTOM OF THE USUAL CANE. HOWEVER I FEEL MUCH SAFER WITH THIS. IT IS NOT TOO WIDE A BOTTOM SO THAT YOU TRIP OVER IT AND YET IT STANDS MOST PLACES EASILY WITHOUT TIPPING THE CANE.

I have numb feet and more confidence now
My feet turned pretty numb ("just one of those things") but I can still walk in the house without a cane although I still wobble now and then. After I had a new DX of widespread osteoporosis, I started using a rollator in public to insure my balance and safety from the scary cement ;)However I had no way to confidently walk in our front or back yard which isn't standard grass lawns but naturalized plants and lumpy ground. I've missed the last several seasons to putter around with plants because I couldn't figure out a way to safely walk on the uneven ground. I mulled over a quad cane but all four points have to hit the ground at the same time and I'd be on a lumpy slope. I also thought about trekking poles but they didn't seem practical since I couldn't carry anything without a big production.I came across this cane tip and was mainly attracted to the 5" base. The spring ankle, so to speak, turned out to be integral to walking smoothly and strongly for me. I was practically zipping around the yard after the grounds were cleared from debris. I also forgot myself and walked up the stairs a couple times with one hand on the railing and one using my newly kitted out cane.It does make a clicking noise from the spring when you when you use it that some people might feel self-conscious about; it's akin to wearing squeaky tennis shoes in the grocery store. But if it helps you with your mobility issues and gets you out of the house, who cares. All in all, I am thrilled to be able to go in the yard again thanks to this unique cane tip. (Incidentally, it fit on my 3/4" diameter cane with no problems and stands up by itself, even outside.)

It's fabulous, but start with super glue
I needed a more stable tip on the forearm crutch I use instead of a cane. This tip is fabulous because unlike most 3-5 legged tips you don't have to put it straight up and down with each step. Walk normally and if you put one corner down, the whole thing goes down flat. It's magic. But now to the super glue: I saw a couple of reviews here and elsewhere complaining that the small rubber tips on each leg can fall off and get lost, which is a design flaw I admit. So get some super glue and glue those puppies on from the start; don't wait until you lose or almost lose one. PAY ATTENTION to how they line up: there's a dot on the rubber tip that aligns with a line on the leg so the angle is right - glue them on with those lined up. Problem: solved.

It is good... but has a lot more bad...
The Good: I've been using the flextip everyday for 4 months. It's one of the best cane accessories I've used in the last 5 years. The flextip moves with you as you walk and adjusts under uneven ground. It will adjust on different terrain because of the spring on the bottom. It does absorb impact and swivels well. The Bad: The 3 rubber feet on the bottom of the flextip are not permanently attached. I happened to lose 1 of the 3 rubber feet and the cane tip is now uneven with every step. There is a piece of metal inside of the spring which has bent causing the cane to not stand up straight. Whenever I try to stand the cane up it leans too far to one side and falls over. I have also tried to twist the cane around to get it to balance itself out but the bend is too great to allow that to happen.Overall impression: I am disappointed in the build quality because it has seemed to wear out in less than 4 months. There are no replacement parts or contact information for the company which sells this product so the issues I've had can't be remedied. If you plan to use the flextip for daily use you're going to end up needing to buy multiples to get through 1 year based off the quality and for the cost I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

sturdy, dependable, and lighter weight than most three prong tips!!!!
I have Multiple sclerosis and depend on my canes to help me walk. This flex tips are wonderful! So many of the other cane tips that are three prong are too heavy and this one is not. And because of the spring tip it helps with less pressure on your wrist and arm when you go to step and push down on the cane to walk. I Have a handful of different canes and have purchased this tip for two of my canes and I will be purchasing more. It holds the cane up right where it does not fall down when I’m at home and when I’m out and about. I use it all day every day and it is not hard to lift the cane at all! Does take a little bit of getting used to with the spring as you step but then you come to realize it’s helps you bounce back which is wonderful! The flex tip fit one of my canes perfect when I took the old tip off. As I got the second one my cane was a little thinner than the tip of the flex tip so I put black tape around the diameter of my cane to make it a little bigger than I slid it into the flex tip and it fit perfect and does not come off!! This is a great product!!!!!
