Two comments.Finish/"style": this is a very good color match for the Space Gray Mac Mini, much better than some of the comments would lead you to think.Fit/"sturdiness": it's every bit as good as the NuStand Mini stand made my NewerTech (I own two of those). Yes, there is a little lateral wobble. No, in the real world it does not pose any risks at all. Yes, the NuStand has wobble, and exactly the same wobble as this stand. So buying the NuStand isn't going to change that for you.The NuStand is usually available for a little less. If you don't care about color match, it's a good choice, but not better than this stand. If you want something that's a better color match, this is the one to buy.

The stand works very well and is sturdy enough for it’s intended use. I would have liked it to be a little beefier. Also, while it looks good, the coloring could be a tad darker to match the space gray of the new Mac Mini. The silicon protector could be a bit thicker, it works but it doesn’t stay put when placing/removing the Mini. Still it does the job and looks good.The comments about the silicon gasket being thin is a problem. My solution was to use a little SuperGlue to keep the gasket in place. It works but the real solution is for the manufacturer to provide a better gasket. However, it’s not as bad as some are saying. My 2018 MM is very stable but it could be better. The stand itself could also be heavier to help give a little more stability.

This product worked exactly as advertised. Super lightweight which concerned me because I did not want to cheat piece of aluminum or plastic but it's heavy duty. Took me 2 minutes to set it up.

This stand is a great tool for making the Mini an unobtrusive desk item. Instead o a large paperweight the desk it becomes an elegant and easy to access tool for efficiency. It takes up a much smaller footprint and can be contained in a smaller less cluttered site. It can be slid out tomato the various connections and the out back into a low profile. Very happy I found this stand for my MacMini.

This stand is well made and looks good—better than anything I’ve found out there. I don’t think the gasket is an issue. If it’s too loose for you, glue it. Simple enough.My bigger problem with the stand, though, is its light weight (it’s shockingly light) versus small footprint. It does make things nice and compact, but I don’t trust it not to get easily knocked over. It either needs heavier legs or a wider leg-span to keep it stable. What a shame that I have to return it! If you can rig up something to make it more stable, by all means, go for it. I thought of solutions, but decided for the price it was too complicated. I’ll use a far less classy but heavier and more stable option. The computer is too expensive to take a risk for the sake of style and compactness.

Price took it to 4 stars. Rest is as it "says on the tin" so to speak. This isn't to shield your Mini from damage - it is not protective. I don't think it is realistic to think the stand should help the Mini take a knock and not fall over - that would require a physical profile that would not provide the needed cooling. I had my Mini on its side for the first year - they get SO hot. Then I decided to invest in this. The color is spot on with my Mini and looks great. The silicone is a bit fussy but when you get your Mini positioned it stays there.

My intel Mac mini (2018) ran very hot to the touch on top just sitting on a desk flat, even had it crash under heavy load a couple of times, now even under heavy load the temp remains just “warm” - this. Large visible logo detracts from appearance, but it’s very functional

It's an excellent device and it's holding my Mac mini right now. Id recommend it. It has a silicone grip in the middle that really keeps your device in place. And the design is sleek as well so that's a good bonus.
