These do NOT suction to any type of surface - not to my countertops, not to my table, not to my glasstop stove. NOT to anything! The black bottom circle that looks like it will suction onto surfaces is a super hard black plastic circle that does not move or push down in ANY WAY to even try to suction.With that aside I thought well maybe i can try to carefully balance the bag clipped so when i pour my freezer meals into the bags that they fill the bag evenly as to not put too much on one side to cause it to tip since it wouldnt suction at all. Well that worked great for ONLY THE EMPTY bags. As soon as the smallest amount went into the bag (i had it up almost all of the way as I was using gallon bags / family of 7 here). The bag was touching the top of the suction piece at the very bottom of this device that wont suction - THE BAG WAS NOT SUSPENDED IN THE AIR BY THE CLIPS ONLY. The bottom of the bag was low enough to have what I thought might be some kind of support from the device.Well I poured super slow so it wouldnt tip by a fast pour or sudden change or shift in weight to one area. I poured about HALF of a cup of sauteed vegetables in evenly across the bottom. It did NOT TIP but instead it completely pulled off the clips on the one side of the bag. When that happened the green pull up part that now had all the weight collapsed back down. I NEVER even thought that would happen.I moved the bag off of the one hook that it hung from at this point to examine the tool utensil thing.Well the side that the green thing collapsed back down in now didnt stay up at all. The teeth werent locking into eachother to keep it up. This was 1st time use right out of the amazon delivery box.I bought the 2 pk so i went to see if maybe the other one was ok.It too had hard non bendable plastic at the bottom that didnt budge and would not suction onto anything. This 2nd device was even worse then the 1st one as the green things appeared to be melted into the white legs that they should lift out of for adjusting height of different sized bags.I dont know if mine were defective or what or if they are all junk, but it did not look like all those youtube home cooking videos that they used them in with ease that prompted me to want to buy them. (Yes i watched multiple people use them online making freezer dump meals) they had a different color then mine so im thinking they had a different brand as well.Sad because i meal plan and cook a whole month of freezer meals in one night for our family of 7 people and thought this could really help a momma out in the kitchen. Oh well

Update:I bought this in 2019 and have used it constantly. I have also given this as a gift to 5 cooks. They call to say thank you for the gift, then I ask them if they know what it is. 5 for 5 they haven't a clue. So one of the joys is telling them to open the arms, extend them and then get a baggie. OH! That's so cleaver! I should have thought of that!This item has prevented so many major messes in my kitchen that I have lost count! And although it might see flimsy, I've filled gallon freezer bags with stew and nothing buckled. (Be sure the baggie is firmly resting on the counter before filling).Best gadget I have ever bought for my kitchen! 5-stars!* * *Looking at the pictures I wasn't sure how sturdy it was going to be, but at the price I'd try it.Yes, there is some flex in the arms and I wouldn't put a west stew into it (until maybe partially frozen) but it does work nicely.I used it to ladle a rice dish and pulled pork into vacuum bags. Be sure to have the bottom of the bag resting on the base or it will pull out of the build in clips. In fact you MAY want to supplement them with bulldogs to give extra hold.8 bags later and my hands are clean, the counter has a few drips, but it WORKS.

I have started to make frozen meal prep bags recently and these things have made a world of difference! It’s so much easier to add all the liquids and canned foods into the bags while they’re being held up by these. For the price, they’re completely work it!I haven’t used the “suction” part, but they’re sturdy enough that I haven’t needed that function. They’re retractable and can fit any size bag (up to a gallon ziplock). I have put some HEAVY meals in here and they securely held the bag in place the whole time. Very pleased for the $$!

I purchased these baggy racks for drying out the Envirogen re-useable baggies that my wife purchased.The most difficult part of getting a re-useable bag clean is getting it dry. These racks work perfectly for this purpose.

This comes in VERY HANDY when trying to package left over soup or any other left overs.. especially when you don't have anyone around to "hold the bag open" for you. ALSO I am excited to have this for Christmas day dinner. We always have alot of ham and turkey left over,( which are both very juicy items), this will be GREAT when we are trying to pick all the meat off the bones so we can put the left overs in the fridge which usually takes one person picking off the meat and one person holding the zip lock bag..NOT ANYMORE! Now we can get it done in half the time bc two people can pick meat and nobody has to hold a bag open, . I'M TEMPTED TO BUY 2 MORE

What I liked most is that it really works. I make up prepared meals, like soups, chili,and anything that is freezable for quick meals for summer and winter. Using a cup to put food in bags for freezing and trying to hold on to a bag is hard but with this baggie holder it’s a breeze. You can adjust the holder for the size bag you need. All I can say is: you won’t regret it 😄

I love these! I'm on my second pair. Originally they came as singles. I've bought them for friends as gifts. They are great when making marinade for meats. just hook the bag, por in ingredients, aht dd fish/meat close bag & done! The only reason I bought a new one is because the arm on my old one suddenly kept falling. don't waste your $$ on any other type. This one is the best!!

This was purchased as a replacement for one that I have had for nearly 10 years. The old one was lost in a move, not broken! This is of equal quality as the old one. Very valuable to repackaging bulk buys, and putting up garden bounties. I really rely on these, and was frustrated when I lost my original.
